Even if boxing did start in schools it would just quickly be made illegal again.

    Not worth even considering.
    Not if its done right.

I think its a good idea. Football is more hardcore and has a ton of injuries and nobody calls for it to be scrapped.

    Get real now.

You might start with the athletic commission in the county, then speak with the board of education, and proceed from there.

If approved by the school board and the teachers and parents association, then a fund raising event may be in order to get the ball rolling.

It's good to have activities that release stress in the school environment, especially if the activity encourages getting good grades and offers trips and incentives to local boxing matches and other places.

Just my guess of how to go about it.

They have schools like this in Puerto Rico, to develop athletes talents from a young age. My uncle used to be the prinipal at this school. Got to see John Ruiz Train there one summmer. Here is the website you can read up on it in english.

Daniel Santos was an Alumni to this school and if I am not mistaken so were the Mc brothers that fight for top rank....

          This is true.

A boxing program would have to include girls and have fun boxing activities that get everyone involved to increase self esteem and which provide incentives that reward improvement.

You can start off shy and clueless kids on a Wii boxing game, then gradually increase the challenges as they become more confident.

You have to implement a plan first i.e. who will be teaching it , equipment , costs etc.
Then you would have to get in touch with the local school district manager ( or board) and pitch the idea to them
Tell them abou the benefits , say wrestling can be just as violent if not more and thats allowed
