I will say that Wilder has been showing some better fundamentals as he is learning how to box more.

His problem has always been that he was too defensively liable and one dimensional as a sole offensive fighter.

Ngannou royally ****ed over the PFL. They sign him in 2023, then have to wait almost 18 months for him to fight for them, and by that point nobody really gives a **** because he got made to look like a total bum in a matter of minutes by AJ. Now 10 months later he hasnt had a second fight for them and is talking about boxing again. The one fight he had for them allegedly cost around $10 million in purses while generating basically no interest. Oh and dont forget he made them promise to create PFL Africa, and make him the chairman of it, only for him to not even attend the events when they happened.

He has pretty much turned into a cautionary tale for other MMA promotions aiming to compete with the UFC. All its done for the PFL is speed up their demise.

You've got to feel for Peter Murray and the PFL. Promoting boxing isn't easy either but it's a cakewalk compared to MMA in my experience.
The UFC can be credited with a lot. Since 1993, it's evolving partners have overcome the stigma of "Cage Fighting/No-Holds Barred" being a spectacle akin to "human ****fighting" that "took advantage of people", often grappling centric athletes but lacking the discipline or natural fighting talent to succeed in professional boxing, by opening up the rules to kicking and wrestling, and paying them next to nothing for their effort and injury. After navigating the legal, public relations, financial solvency and logistical challenges with the aid of my friend Mark Ratner, former Executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, the UFC began to turn it around at about the same time that Mixed Martial Arts, for a time red hot, was dying in Japan.

With their singular success in promoting their brand and growing the sport through a series of sound business partnerships and a warming up by the sports media, the UFC became strong, and acquired or absorbed several prominent competitors, with notable examples including Pride FC, once Japan's leading company, Strikeforce, World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), and Bellator FC.

Startups like the PFL need to understand the realities that business people have understood for over a century; re-learned by the well financed fails in other sports like the USFL and ABA decades ago; that competition against a well dug-in monopoly is generally a fool's errand.

Ngannou is a boxer who trained in checking kicks and stuffing takedowns to become high in the conversion of MMA heavyweight G.O.A.T.s, but he doesn't have the ability to hang in with any world class heavyweight who isn't highly undertrained and joking around. We might imagine that if Khater Yenbou had not introduced Ngannou to Fernand Lopez in his mid 20s, but instead sent him to Paris Saint-Germain for the summer, and he was devoted to boxing alone; he may well have thrived as a professional using the underpinnings of what made him a UFC legend.

Wilder. Really? Wilder was no different from Ngannou. A one trick pony in boxing that was exposed and DONE. He was never that good and can get KO by anyone including Nganno.
So you are correct. Ngannou is good enough to beat Wilder.

Wilder is twice the puncher that Joshua is and a good deal more durable, even now, far beyond his expiration date.

Not accurate! A boxer is ALL Francis Ngannou is. The Wrestling, Submission Grappling and Kickboxing/Muay Thai that he possess is that of a non-fighter student.
He knows just enough of those three ranges to employ his Boxing under MMA rules. And he does that with Devistating effect. Learn about him.
