The trainer wont change the results in this case. Dubois can punch a hole through anyone willing to stand in front of him. If they don't, he will fatigue mentally and physically and be beaten. It's that simple. Can't change who he is and who he isn't.

It's a positive step that Dubois got rid of this holier-than-thou narcissist.

Even if Charles wasn't the main reason behind his loss, he was a contributing factor alongside Daniel's dad. The best decision would have been to go to the US and train there, because he would have had to deal with some street tough stuff and be away from his dad. Dubois desperately needs such an environment (preferably, he should have done this 3 years ago).
