Jack Dempsey > Rocky Marciano as far as I’m concerned.

Marciano got dropped by blown up light heavyweights. Dempsey’s power would have stopped him.

          Agreed.

And Ward has no shot at beating AJ. That size difference is just insurmountable.
AJ is now a gatekeeper at HW but he’s solid enough to destroy a retired 42 year old who hasn’t fought in 7 years.

Dempsey (or his people) also avoided Harry Greb, who wanted to fight him. Kearns said he wanted 'no part of that seven year itch'. And Dempsey personally drew the colour line, announcing in 1919 that he refused to fight black challengers. And he made several racist statements both before and after his title reign. One of them was to attack Greb for fighting Tiger Flowers, whom he called 'that n...'

Breadman keeps saying that head to head Lennox Lewis is a nightmare for everyone, but I keep remembering the Vitali Klitscko fight. I agree Lennox would trouble everyone else but he retired so he does not have to face Vitali again because Vitali had his number. He was even more physical than Lennox.

I guess you forgot that Vitali lost to Lewis. So he certainly didn't have his number. That's also the oldest, least conditioned, version of Lewis.

Saved by the bell in his last fight. Great, but over rated fighter.

Like Bread, keeping my eyes on Ramos too. Don’t know if TR would choose him for Zayas, but I’m sure Ramos would go to PR, it’s still PR vs. MEX so it will sell, and Zayas would silence the doubters (me included) with a victory! Zayas is a Champion, and Ramos wants that shot, so why not?
