I think open round scoring should be legal nationwide. It stops corruption. It also helps the fans get a better perspective of judging in boxing. It also helps the fighter because they can change their game plan during the fight.

I disagree. Open scoring can change a fight.

Example- I thought the open scoring changed the Trout v Canelo fight in a terrible way.

Trout somehow was way down on two cards and had to change how he fought to have any chance to win. He somehow could only win by KO in a fight he looked to be winning or at least tied.

By trying for a ko this played right into Canelo’s strategy.

He was going to loose regardless of how he fought. Canelo is the A side. He already is up 4 rounds by default.

If you want to beat canelo by the cards you have to literally beat him up or land a high percentage on him which isnt easy.

Thats why most Americans hate boxing. They think its rigged. Boxing out of all sports historically is associated with corruption.
