Fighters and their camps as well as promoters and managers, lie all the time about who's ducking who. Half the time, they'll go on social media and say a guy is ducking, when the reality is that no real offer was sent, no contract, low ball offer, asking for too much money, or someone wants options on you for future fights, and all other kinds of f.. ckery that never gets talked about publicly. You really think someone with Boots' ability is afraid of any other boxer? That's what suggesting he's ducking implies.
teo called boots out, radio silence from boots teo gave up, he didnt even try, nothing else to say

Yeah! Don’t make me laugh. If he really wanted to fight those guys he could have.

He said he wanted to unify the 147 lbs division but ended up ducking Brian Norman, Jr by moving up to 154 instead.

All the Norman’s requested was to sign a post dated contract for a fight to occur in October; Following his Jin Sasaki fight in Japan.

        • Just want to post this here, because in a different thread I had mentioned that I read that Ennis's team sent a contract to Abel Ramos, not Jesus, as the rumors were initially about Jesus but turned out it got clarified by Boog Williams (@Ovajay) in X/Twitter.

He was also the first that mentioned Lima being brought up in rankings and that Ennis got ranked recently at 154, suggesting that is likely match up, as no other fighter was changing in rankings.

          • All of you clowns said nothing when vergil ortiz ducked ennis when their names were first linked together years ago. You clowns never held vergil ortiz accountable when he said that he would fight crawford too. You clowns also said nothing when vergil ortiz took tune ups at 154 ibs (Frederick Lawson and then Thomas Dulorme).
You clowns said nothing when william zepeda was taking multiple tune ups and was ducking shakur.

Norman the Nobody ducked. Mizzone from Norman's camp said that they didn't sign a contract to face Eniis because he had an upcoming title fight with Sasaki. SO HE DUCKED, and with a LAME reason at that. Norman also overvalued himself by demanding more money than what he is worth. This NOBODY just fought in Japan as an American Welterweight FFS.

                  • Ennis moving up to junior middleweight is super exciting. His speed and skills at welterweight were already crazy, so I’m really hyped to see how he handles the extra weight. Lima’s no joke though, so it’ll be a fun matchup. If Ennis pulls this off, the 154-pound division is gonna get even more lit! Can’t wait for this fight!
