    BBC3 isn't a small potential negative.

    Have you ever watched it?

The deal is a total bust unless it's BBC1, maybe 2.

    More people watch Channel 5.

iPlayer is the where the reach is. If it's on BBC3, literally nobody will watch. Certainly no casuals.

Who cares which BBC channel it goes on though really as long as it's on and free? Channel 5 has always done pretty well with their boxing coverage in terms of viewing figures (Tyson Fury made his name on there after all) and BBC should do better again. All in all I think the BBC getting back into boxing unexpectedly is an interesting little shake up of the status quo.
      Undercard is apparently on iPlayer.

Channel 5 national viewership is 4% btw.

      BBC3 is 1%.

BBC1 is 21%. Now that would matter.

But BBC3 will have a 1/4 of the viewers Channel 5 had.

David Haye on Dave probably had more.

The channel really does matter in terms of casuals.

I'm kinda skeptical about how good this will be.

Is the budget gonna be high enough to attract decent fighters and get them taking competitive fights?

I'd quite like to see them focus on British and European titles actually and let the successful ones go on to PPV platforms afterwards.

Got a feeling they're just gonna push women's boxing and mediocre men's fights though.

What does it mean for boxing on Sky Sports too? Have they decided to be done with boxing after a diminishing (non PPV) product for years?
