She is annoying as ****. 14-8 in her own sport, 7-6 in the UFC, was for some reason kept around for ages in spite of being utter **** and now is being given opportunities to have her ass kicked even more in boxing.

You sound like a resentful loser TBH. Did you even read the article?

Anyway, with the usual NSB loser dealt with (and placed on ignore) let's turn to the topic at hand: Dana White's proposed "takeover". There are several reasons why this won't be as simple as many are implying. For a start, to state the obvious, the Muhammad Ali Act is a US law so only ever applied in the US anyway. And yet we still do not see closed market boxing organisations globally.

Boxing is a much bigger sport than MMA in terms of participation. I think, as is often the case, boxing fans are focusing only on high profile US fighters and wondering what will happen if White/Turki capture all of those. Well, this already seems unlikely for reasons already stated elsewhere. Japan has had a healthy, thriving boxing market for decades. Do you think they're all suddenly going to sign over to this rather obnoxious American with delusions of grandeur?

This plan already looks very similar to what PBC had planned when they first entered the market except they did it by buying up TV dates. The trouble is they never had the fighters to fulfil the schedule and eventually lost the TV dates. The most White is likely to end up achieving is a small, US-focused entity with prospects and fringe contenders. When that fails to gain traction they will adjust to reality (like PBC did) or fail.

Some parts of danas plan actually sound beneficial for boxers and its cool that guys careers and earning potential arent completely destroyed after 1 single loss. Their pay model may work better at the bottom for fighters but definitely not at the top so i cant see too many name brand fighters wanting to get involved unless Turki keeps cutting ridiculous checks

I stated from the beginning of this news, that Dana Whyte and the TKO boxing league 'Will most likely attract fighters who are up and coming, or in the latter part of their career. But it will be very difficult for it to be seen as the absolute pinnacle of the sport, by the fighters first and then the general public'.

Boxing already has genuine world champions, the UFC or Mixed Martial Arts does not have any World Champions 'Only Franchise champions, who out compete a few hundred people in whatever organisation they are representing. They are still great champions, but not actual Global World Sports Champions to the same level we see in other Global open class sports like Boxing, Track and Field Athletics and Tennis'.

Note: I think the TKO boxing league will also be good for surface level sports fans 'Who just want to consume boxing in a more linear and straight forward format. I would imagine the main bulk of the fan base will be? The demographics that watch the UFC'.

But let's all be honest? The actual Global sport of boxing is a open class environment 'From year to year, month to month and week to week the game can alter dramatically. Both for the fighters, managers and promoters in the game'.

There is a trend and certain folk in boxing complaining about this 'But in reality? This trait has always been a part of professional boxing. And I think people like it, because it creates so many debates and points of speculation'.

Also? I tend not to put too much weight on what Mixed Martial Arts fighters say 'When they try and compare the UFC and Boxing. A lot of those fighters are resentful that they are now competing in boxing, I sense this with Darren Till although? I don't dislike Till I have enjoyed his recent ventures into boxing'.

Overall the more entity's competing against each other in boxing 'The better it will be for the sport'. But Ido kind of agree with Eddie Hearn, it has been a complete over exaggerated the way certain people act when speaking about the sport of boxing. The sport has always had the ability to smash it, and it is one of the last true blue collar working class sports'.

To conclude: Many sports that were once deemed working class in the world 'Can no longer be deemed working class sports. Because as you rise up the levels, more and more people are discriminated against or stopped from competing in the sport'.

That is where boxing has always been different from many others sports 'It is by no means a pleasant sport, I would imagine when it comes to business. But it has given many people throughout the decades and centuries opportunities'.

A Franchise business model is only going to make a section of boxing 'Super elitist, and marginalise it. By its very nature, it will struggle to become the entire sport of boxing on a Global level' etc.
