I remember when Rosado faced GGG; HBO was trying to hype up the Kazakh and knew Rosado would go to war with him. Gabe was presented as the throwback Philadelphia bad boy brawler. He didn't disappoint and went out on his shield in a bloody mess.

Gabe had a few stinkers over the years (the Jacobs and Arias fights come to mind) but he also had some great firefights like Munguia and Bek the Bully.....would love to see him spark out Berlanga even if that's not likely at this stage of his career.

Maybe not likely but you gotta believe Rosado has a higher ring IQ.
That, plus Rosado's veteran experience, plus Berlanga's fragile mental state gives Gabe the edge, I'd like to think.

It's funny how someone can have 3 losses and people ask for such person to retire. This dude has about 20

Gabe's commentary is much better than Abner, that's for sure. And probably better than a couple others too.

That’s because of Gabe’s history and ultimate potential. He was never going to be anything more than an all-action opponent. When you have an athlete who once showed elite promise, and is now on the decline…no one wants to see their ghost carry on. On the other hand, a guy who never had that kind of talent but still promises an exciting fight…you don’t mind seeing him hang around. Just the way it is.

Berlanga whoops on Rosado now or prime Rosado. I like Gabe, but facts are facts.
Also not happy that he never gave Bek Bully a rematch since that was a one in a million shot he landed on Bek. No doubt great anticipation and timing against an overaggressive Bek, but he owes him a rematch

He did rematch Bek. He lost a decision.

Berlanga has never accomplished anything in his entire career. He'll never be one tenth of what Zab Judah was. Disrespectful to even mention them in the same sentence.

Zab was the undisputed welterweight champion of the world and a 3X super lightweight world titlist.

Zab fought everyone; beat Junior Witter, Terron Millett, DeMarcus Corley, Cory Spinks, Micky Ward, Lucas Matthysse, etc. Lost to Tszyu, Spinks, Baldomir, Floyd, Cotto, Clottey, Khan, Danny G, and Paulie.

Berlanga has fought two quality opponents in his whole career and lost them both by a country mile.
