Usyk vs Holyfield ! What a great fantasy fight, I think it would have to be a trilogy and I lean ever so slightly to Usyk to make adjustments and win the last two by split decision after losing the first by split decision. Respectfully

Watched some highlights of Dwight Muhammad Qawi. What a beast that guy was, they don’t make them like that anymore.

Holyfield beating him is a better accomplishment than anything Usyk did at cruiserweight in my opinion.

"Usyk had one tough controversial win, vs Maris Breidis"

Usyk would beat the overrated Holyfield with ease. Laughable how anyone but a Holy-Fan-boy would think otherwise. Nash out - His Majesty

I was going to question that statement myself, but you beat me to it.

There was nothing controversial about Usyk/Breidis, neither during nor after the fight. It was close enough for Breidis to have gotten the nod, as he was a popular champion, fighting in front of his home crowd, and we know how that can influence judges in a close fight. But the right man got his hand raised at the end, and neither Breidis nor anybody in his team complained about it.

it wouldn't have been easy, but I think Usyk would have beaten Holyfield. Mr Fields didn't have a good record against southpaws. He lost to Byrd and Moorer, neither of whom were as good as Usyk.

                Holyfield kinda ****** vs southpaws

His CW run is also horribly overrated and very speculation based; Qawi & De Leon are just names really, CW was not Qawi's best weight in fact he hasn't a single notable win there and De Leon lost countless times to absolute nobodies. I highly doubt 1% of this forum could name me a single fighter either beat at CW!
Both wasn't exactly at their peak either.
He has the accomplishments but really lacks the resume and depth.

Why do we also pretend the Briedis fight was controversial? Close, yes. Controversial? No.
Then we act like its Usyks only stand out win at the weight when he has many. How about Gassiev? Who had beaten the likes of Lebedev, Diablo, a little past their very best but two fine former world champions and put on a magnificent display vs Dorticos who we just seen at aged 40 coming off a ton of inactivity give the #1 (Or 2 worst case) CW fits.

Nobody comes close to Usyk at CW not even the beloved Holyfield. The man is in a league of his own at the weight.
He fought in the toughest era in history went to his opponents backyards and beat them, virtually all at their peak. Skilled fighters, all styles, murderous punchers who we've seen flatline HWs with one shot

Another thing is we see these American greats and sure they are great but they made a living off fighting fellow American schooled, orthodox fighters.

Usyk on the other hand has fought and beat that style, British styles, soviet styles. He has fought and beaten counterpunchers, pressure fighters, movers/slicksters, southpaws, you name it. He didn't have the luxury of fighting more or less one particular style throughout his run he is insanely familiar with and sparred week in, week out for decades.

He has fought short fighters who know how to fight short, he has fought giants.

All statures, all styles, on their terms. This guys never had a single thing in his favour or to his advantage.
                  Its truly remarkable.
