  • Only Opetaia and Itauma have a shot at beating Usyk

Only Jai Opetaia and Moses Itauma can challenge Usyk. Parker is good but he’s too standard and by the numbers to have any shot at winning. Sure he deserves the shot but does anyone think he will legitimately challenge ? Since Usyk has only a couple of fights left don’t we want to see him in matches where the outcome is unknown. Opetaia has the speed and footwork and Itauma has the quickness and power to make it interesting. Parker is a forgone conclusion.

Maybe if Usyk keeps fighting into his mid 60s

Itauma ain't beating him. Bivol and Canelo have a better chance.

The guy who can beat Usyk is out there

His name is Daquan Shawntel and he's playing in the NFL.

If only the NFL didn't exist, America would run boxing.

Father time is the one thats going to beat him at this point, the opponent will be a largely incidental factor. They just have to be "good enough" to catch a nearly 40 year old great on the downslide.

Maybe if Usyk keeps on fighting into his 50s.

Right now, they are both easy work. Be real, Itauma is totally green. Opeatia was badly hurt at cruiserweight.

                definitely not Jai

                Jai's jab is lacking

they both southpaw so it's closed stance opening up extra lanes for Usyk's terrific jab

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are still the best fighters 'Who can potentially beat Oleksandr Usyk right now. If a trilogy fight between ether if those fighters was made next? There would be masses of people backing them to win. I know for sure that I would be backing Anthony Joshua III to win'.

Note: Oleksandr Uysk is not miles ahead of his nearest competition 'He has never been that type of fighter. All of his best wins at top level in the Heavyweight Division, have been competitive fights. Those are the facts, he is not a dominant champion to the same level Mike Tyson was as a Heavyweight Champion'.

Beating Daniel Dubois is not a all-time great win 'Dubois had already been traumatically beaten before competing against Uysk. Daniel Dubois was a giant underdog, against a version of Anthony Joshua who many would deem outside of his peak. And even still? Anomalistic events had to occur in order for Dubois to beat Joshua on that night. Never before had Joshua as a professional fighter made so many unforced errors and technical mistakes, presenting the opportunity for Daniel Dubois to have his Any Given Saturday: In reference to the NFL movie Any Given Sunday'.

To conclude: Oleksandr Uysk is the man in the moment 'He is winning, and has captured the Undisputed titles in this latter part of the era. All the major potential threats to his reign, have already been beaten and chased out of the division by Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in combination. As I have mentioned many times before, they are the three heavyweight mountains of this era, and in combination they cleared out the entire heavyweight division before Oleksandr Uysk decided to enter the division'.

I think Joseph Parker does deserve his opportunity at fighting Oleksandr Uysk 'Although he is not one of the Heavyweight Mountains of this era. He was once upon a time an undefeated WBO World heavyweight Champion. And he has survived competing in the heavyweight division, through the entire heavyweight reigns of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder'.

And if that fight is made next 'I would give Joseph Parker a definitive chance of pushing Oleksandr Uysk in competitive fight. Uysk is an all-time great fighter, he has complied impressive statistics on his resume. But head to head stylistically, he is not a formidable fighter. It is not inconceivable to envision him being beaten, when he has already been embroiled 4 competitive fights with Tyson Fury I & II and Anthony Joshua I & II, and pushed right to the line by a version of Derek Chisora miles outside of his peak as a fighter' etc.

At this point it's all about usyk building a resume. So parker, ajit, ajagba and whoever else in top ten.
This will keep usyk busy until he's 40.
