Even without (currently) a broadcaster, TR still takes better care of their prospects than Hearn with a broadcaster.
Hearn would've never paid out of his cheap pocket to keep his prospects active.

Arum promote trash! Keyshawn, Shakur, Haney.... they also rig fights for Black Boxers by corrupting judges & Compubox... and allow them to "win" fights by fighting like cowards; running & holding. This is the reason HBO, Showtime & ESPN cancelled their Boxing programs cause of all this crap. Top Rank & PBC are bad news for Boxing, it's best they go broke, NOBODY wants to see that S H I T.!!

What an end of an era? Boxing has run its course stateside. Unfortunately there is no longer a market for boxing in the U.S. on television.

Advertisers and sponsors are pulling their ads for the lack of viewership. ESPN is now forced to start streaming their cards online like other promoters do or they can sale the company.

No regular TV for boxing in America.

Regular TV for poker, cornhole and pickle ball, among other “sports”.

America is definitely changing and not necessarily for the good.

i would watch what they are putting inside the ropes if it was available to fight fans and future fight fans, corrupt or not conscious of what they are doing or not Boxing draws certain sport fans in --- the trouble is it is not access for the main steam fan and the main is what Boxing needs. What is more important to Boxing is what Happens to TR after Arum leaves the scene not just boxing scene but the scene of life .................. Whatever happens Bob Arum will still be calling the shots somehow some way from down under or on a cloud up above... Not many have lasted as long as Bob if any.....

Honestly, they should go the ProBox route. More free fights to the masses and they get that post live broadcast revenue with the continued viewership of the fights long after they've aired. I'm not saying they'll be wildly viewed in the millions for every card, but if you get some massive names on the card, it can happen.

Though it being TopRank and their experience in the game, I'm sure they'll acquire a broadcasting partnership with someone eventually. I just like the idea of more accessibility to see live fights to draw more viewers and new fans.

As well as what Turki is doing where he drops the main event of big cards nearly an hour or two after it aired. It just makes sense. Why give those views to freeloaders who are taking your content and airing it on their channel when you can do it instead, in full quality and acquire those viewer counts that can then turn into revenue for your own channel? It's almost a double dip on your own content. You get the PPV sales perhaps, then you get the YT revenue from putting it on there right after.

Boxing is a blue collar sport. They lost that audience by making every fight an $80 PPV. Now instead of weekly fights, there are quarterly cards. The next decent fight isn’t until September. That’s no way to build an audience. It’s kind of over for this sport.

Boxing used to thrive in America because America was the center of the universe for boxing.

That's just not how it is anymore.

Things started to change when the Klitschkos became champs and did almost all their defenses in Germany. Boxing has been on the slide stateside ever since.
