There's a reason why some fighters make a dollar a fight and if they don't know the reason or reasons then they don't know anything about pro boxing and shouldn't be considered experts on the subject

The censored letters contain a racial epithet about Hispanic people. The forum owners need to fix the logic so it censors whole words only.

I’m not a fan of this greedy mfr crossing over to our sport. Dana has always said that boxing is a”dying sport” ugh, he came over because he thinks boxers are making too much money. All these money grubbing execs have no backbone. “Dana, come over to here and suck my ***”

Dana White has as much morals and ethics as he does hair on his head, this is a BAD idea and doesn't bode well for fighters.....

Time to call your elected representatives and let them know what you think about this .

You put too much stock in "champions". If two people do or dont want to fight each other, who is anyone to say they have to? For YOUR entertainment. The only thing any legislative body should concerned with is safety and honesty.

What does it matter if every fighter calls themselevs "champion"? That alone doesnt diminish the quality of the fights. Let it go, enjoy the competition.

I agree with your sentiment regarding safety but the quality aspect is most def languishing as sub-par due to the business structure of the sport. This is why Jake Paul has can cash in with his celebrity/novelty fights.

WWhy are they trying to change the Ali act? Promoters getting 30% of the fighters purse is reasonable . If Dana comes into the picture he takes the entire purse and the fighters will get 5% of it. If the fans want a UFC-like model then the pay-scale will be like the UFC. My issue with boxing is that titlists don’t face other titlists and the sanctioning bodies don’t or can’t enforce it. This is where the problem is imo

The sooner this passes the better.
The current system has been turned into racket ignored by the belts & promoters for theyre own greed & gain always marrinating the fights the fans want deserved by meritocracy until its to late.
All the money in boxing is at the top atm, the ufc has more middle class fighters than boxing & so called fans think its ok for Turki to loose money every card because of todays entitled to boxers & promoters.

Not at all...having 4 champions per weight class (in addition to regular & interim champions) diminishes the meaning of the word 'champion' (just like YouTubers, influencers, reality TV stars etc have diminished the meaning of the word 'celebrity'). Also, in virtually ALL other sports there is only ONE champion e.g. MMA, Tennis, Golf, F1, Snooker etc so why should Boxing be any different?
