Paulie M said it best. Taylor was a dynamic in-out fighter in his prime who went on a great run of beating one unbeaten champion after another to get to his undisputed crown.

Even though I have that angry loser BlackRobb on ignore, I can see he was the first (negative obviously) comment from the article page. Imagine being that much of a miserable attention seeker to behave that way, especially at his age.

The fight with Prograis was an excellent, high quality match-up fought at a high tempo. It was not an “absolute war”, neither man went down nor looked like they were going to get stopped at any point.

The alcoholic Coverdale claims to have me on "ignore" (as if I give a sh##), but miraculously sees the truth I wrote about his boyfriend, Josh Taylor aka Tartan Tomato Can. Maybe if Josh spent as much time in the gym honing his skills as he does at the saloon, his career would have been longer and more productive. The high point of that career was the gift against Prograis. Prograis wasn't exactly Benny Leonard. Taylor and Prograis both chirped about moving up to 147 to take on Bud Crawford, but wisely never did.

            Gift vs. Prograis
            Gift vs. Catterall
            Loss to Catterall
            Washed by TEOFEMALE
            Washed by some African journeyman
Catterall loses at home to the immortal Barboza Jr.

Only alcoholic losers like Coverdale need multiple profiles. Do you ever notice that?

Chicken, you curried. There is no way you can dismiss Taylor or Prograis, at that point, as B level fighters, they were the best 2 men at 140 and you could have made a good case that the winner would be in the top 10 p4p. Both guys have slid a long way down since then, but they was damn good fighters that deserve a little respect.
