This American say maybe Froch won but...

Even if he did, which I can't confirm right now, but I'll trust you. Dirrell hurt Froch much worse and I know even the biggest Froch supporters were worried at that moment.
Did anyone notice that Froch's power on the post fight report card was downgraded to a B after his performance? The same grade that Dirrell recieved.Comment

I agree, he should've fought that round harder. Still it wouldn't have won the fight for him. Could you imagine that? Imagine Dirrell had schooled Froch in the 12th, Froch still would've received the decision. Unbelievable.Comment

Juding a fight that is so close is hard. But i think the only 2 people who know are the people who fought.
Dirrell has been quite quiet, so i think he knows he didnt do enough to get the decision from the home guy.Comment

Dirrell was hurt just as much as Froch, who actually showed some excellent defence off the back foot as Dirrell tried to follow up with big shots. Dirrell on the other hand grabbed hold immediately.
Froch is so slow I'm not surprised his power receives a grade B.Comment

I don't think so. Froch was clearly wobbled and was very close to being knocked down or KOed. Dirrell was not close to that to my knowledge.Comment

agree but dirrell dont won because he dont enter with confiance, and he start boxing when he understand that he can shok froch. i think he win easy a remach, but this is for FrochFroch can have this one. He fought like a professional and applied enough pressure to win enough rounds to get a split decision in his home town.
That being said, Andre Dirrell looked a bit inexperienced. I'd bet anything that in a rematch, Dirrell would dominate Froch. Too quick, too precise, and too smart. You can say Froch won, okay maybe he did. But don't act like Froch put on a clinic or anything. For the majority of the fight, he looked flustered and frustrated. As was clearly seen when he threw Dirrell to the ground, Froch was baffled by Dirrell's speed, and couldn't connect like he wanted. Credit to Froch for his determination, but to reference another post in this thread, "Sorry Carl, he's just the better fighter".
And for those that say Dirrell just ran the whole night, how does that explain the fact that not only did Dirrell land the more powerful, meaningful shots, but he landed more and at a much higher percentage. I remember exchanges where Froch would whiff or graze Dirrell 5-6 times, and the crowd would go nuts. Dirrell would usually counter and land a solid hook or two and win the exchange.
So again, do I think Dirrell won? Maybe, but he didn't win convincingly, and to beat a defending champ in his backyard, you need to. But there's one thing that I don't have doubts about. Dirrell is the better athlete and the better fighter. With more seasoning he would've beaten Froch easily, and if they fight again I expect an easy night for Dirrell.Comment

Dirrell only had the chance to hit froch because froch didnt clinch. Froch couldnt hit dirrell because Dirrell was squeezing Froch, like Dirrell should be called the cobra, and not froch.
Dirrell was like a cobra squeezing the air out of froch.Comment

Even if he was holding, how does that prevent him from winning the fight? He got a point deducted, what more do you want?
These are just excuses for Froch.Comment
