Has all the Saudi money thrown around been a means to this end? Boxing can certainly do a lot better than it has been, but I don't think this is the answer. Maybe this will be the impetus for finding a better way. Or, it could make things worse. Seems as though things generally get worse.

It's hard to imagine anything being worse than the corrupt WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF.
Though it's also hard to blame them for their corruption.
Those who allow them to act in corrupt ways (supervisory bodies and disadvantaged promoters) should be blamed for it.

Boxing only answer's to Boxing until there is some type of National Committee of some -- something outside the greed and corruption of the Promoters and Platforms nothing much will change...... all major sport has something or some independent committee that keeps the other sports in line. Not control just keep the people honest to some degree is all. Most boxer's would earn more under a ufc model.The top tier that's a different story but how much would they really earn without Turki & his billions? Less than Holyfield & Tyson in the 90s.

This only works if you are able to sign like 3/4 of the best talent in the sport like the UFC does with MMA.
