Everyone can advise Pacquiao to retire but retirement has to come from him. I know Gibbons is doing his job but he's been good to Manny imo. I think it was Breadman who said that Gibbons is very smart when it comes to match making. Of course there's always going to be risk when fighting at this age, but if he's eying Rolly and Barrios it's because those are winnable fights for Pacquiao at this stage of his career. Notice how he's not mentioning guys like Norman or Haney. If Pacquiao wins a world title those names might come up, but asa Pac-man fan, I hope not. I'd rather see him rematch Barrios, win, and seek a Floyd fight. Then call it a day and retire for good.

The one thing I can say about Romero is that he is a lot slower, more ballsy (he takes more risks) and punches a lot harder than Barrios.

That’s three things. Lol But yeah, I agree. Rolly sucks bad, but Manny is still old — I don’t care how he looked versus weak-ass Barrios.

Rolly is beatable. The Marines and Barroso fights could have easily been Ls and he beat a completely lethargic and disinterested Garcia to vault himself back to relevance. So long as Manny avoids those telegraphed, slow bombs that Rolly throws....he has a good win of getting the W. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see Manny catching and stopping Rolly.

Outside of a one shot ko I don't see how Rolly wins because his output is just too low, I'm heavily favoring Pac if this happens.
