Comments Thread For: BoxingScene roundtable: What should Oleksandr Usyk do next?
The team weighs in on what they'd like to see Usyk, seemingly still at the peak of his powers at 38 years old after a scintillating performance against Daniel Dubois, take his career next.

One of these guys saw aging signs in Usyk movement? Not sure what he was watching. Parker may deserve it more on recent resume but who is a stiffer challenge - Parker or Kabayel?
I'd be more than happy with Joseph Parker, maybe in Poland although I'm sure Usyk could sell out Wembley in his own right. I like Parker because he boxes smart. No one is going to beat Usyk but I'd pay to watch that one. I personally don't see the appeal of an Agit Kabayel bout, but each to their own. I'm not interested in watching the youngsters challenging Oleksandr, they should have their own World Boxing Super Series after the Champion has put his slippers on. There will be enough belts to go around to make lots of knock out format fights popular and also hopefully a tournament will stop anyone just holding one belt hostage forever.
Usyk before the Dubois fight said he had 2 more fights in him and thats it, so presumably whoever he faces next is his final match. The most deserved is undoubtedly Joseph Parker, and that might be very well who we will see Usyk fight next and thats it.
I dont know why the dumbnuts wont just say Kabayel. Hes arguably done just as much if not more than Parker in recent times and is unbeaten. That should be Usyks path. After beating fighters who have had losses...he should start taking 0's.
