Good decision and he can reflect on an excellent career overall. I do wonder if he'd had better lifestyle habits he may have prolonged his career but that's easy for bystanders to say.

      Congratulations Josh.

Good career and gave us some great moments! But should have retired after the first Catteral fight. You could already tell the hunger just wasn't there anymore.

Taylor had one of the biggest fall offs I've seen, from undisputed beating prime world champions like prograis and ramirez to losing to a domestic level fighter. its almost surreal and these days when i hear taylors name its like that era didn't exist

Probably would be graded as the worst four belt champion ever but being undisputed is a major achievement either way. Probably will be a Hall of Famer just because of that. I hope he takes care of himself in retirement and dont fall back into bad habits.

Good to get out. He had a very nice career but the slippage was evident and health is the primary concern at this point. Best of luck champ.

Proper warrior. Beat some very tough competitors on relatively low pro experience.

Beat Catterall in the second fight. People were blinded by the perceived injustice on the first fight.

                Always gave 100 per cent.

                Happy retirement

His career went down as fast as it peaked. He is doing the right thing.
