KO Count 5-1: AJ & Fury fought 6 of the same opponents. AJ KOd 5, while Fury KOd 1. Does that cement AJ as the #1 Brit heavyweight of the ending era?

    No, logic does not hold.
1- simply being a knockout fighter does not make one better. Pernell Whittaker had very few kos, but was an atg. There are more ways to win than just KO and they are valid.
2- All but one of the shared wins saw AJ fighting the opponent second- the proverbial sloppy seconds fighting Fury's leftovers. This could point to the opponent being worse off. Essentially Fury fought a more prime version.

Not saying you cant make an argument that AJ was better, just saying this argument aint it

different styles i think fury is ahead with his wilder bouts plus he went to germany and dethrone klitschko who was on a long winning streak, AJ does not have this sort of stuff

Parker Ruiz and maybe even povetkin are all better wins than Wilder. Let's not overrate wilder. We saw what happened when be stepped up to top level: draw(really a loss), loss, loss, loss, loss. We can't let fantasy fiction boxing lead us astray. Parker and Ruiz were top contenders. Guys like wilder and ortiz a level below. This is based on the fights that happened. No need for fantasy woud have could haves anymore

That's why we can only use the data we do have and its not good for wilder. And wilder was only "going well" when the opponents weren't good. There's a correlation. He went with the "im an unstoppable ko machine" route which didn't pay off when he met real competition.

              AJ
              1. Dillian Whyte (2015) — KO WIN
              2. Kevin Johnson (2015) — KO WIN
              3. Wladimir Klitschko (2017) — KO WIN
              4. Oleksandr Usyk (2021) — LOSS (Decision)
              5. Otto Wallin (2023) — KO WIN
              6. Francis Ngannou (2024) — KO WIN

              Fury
              1. Kevin Johnson (2012) — DECISION WIN
              2. Wladimir Klitschko (2015) — DECISION WIN
              3. Otto Wallin (2019) — DECISION WIN
              4. Dillian Whyte (2022) — KO WIN
              5. Francis Ngannou (2023) — DECISION WIN (Controversial)
              6. Oleksandr Usyk (2024) — LOSS (Decision)

Based on their actual resumes, taking style or personality favoritism, or fanboyism, out of the equation, is it fair to conclude that Anthony Joshua has proven himself, on the record, as the best British heavyweight of the previous era, when comparing shared opponents with Tyson Fury? This stretches back to a time before Usyk entered the scene and AJ, Fury and Wilder were seen as the top 3 heavyweights in the world. Since AJ and Fury never fought each other, especially in their prime, it's now a case of relying on their boxing records to get the definitive answer as to who was the top dog. Are the KO count results fairly inarguable that AJ outperformed Fury at nearly every given opportunity?

AJ ducked the guy Fury beat twice in Wilder. Fury wins.

Wilder ducked Joshua at every turn. It's been proven over and over. Wilders career high was 2 million and he rejected 12 million. Then later 100 million turned down. Wilders 50 million bluff was called when he refused to send a contract. When you refuse to send a contract "That means it wasn't real" how do you accept something that doesn't exist? Exactly

You need to pay attention to details and start to use critical thinking more. Wilders whole agenda was to market himself as the ko machine everyone was ducking but unfortunately neither was true

No you need to pay attention and use critical thinking. Eddie and AJ ducked Wilder and Fury.
