Ken Norton faced pretty weak competition before facing Ali. The small select group of boxers who stood out made each other look good but playing field was not as leveled as it is today.

Chisora has never been above European level. Tim Witherspoon arguably beat a top 5 all time Heavyweight

Chisora faced a Top 15 HW in his prime and got 12-0'd.
