Seems to me that both, Trainer (Roach) and Boxer (Pacman), are happy with how well the conditioning, strength and speed is at this stage of Training Camp.
Seems to me that the tone of the conversation in the article has no worries or effects from the turmoil produced by others in Pacman's Team.
Seems to me that we will have 2 warriors fully prepared and ready come fight night on Nov. 14 and there should be no excuses from either side.
Seems to me that both boxers and their teams are completely convinced that they can beat each other.
Seems to me that both boxing fans (Cotto and Pacman) need to stop looking for excuses like, where are they training, weight drain, distractions etc... and expect a great fight were it will come down to who can impose his skills, and advantages in the ring and forget the outside ring issues, because they both will come in their best shape possible and it should be a war.
Seems to me that you are spot on. Little more than a month to go.
When Cotto lands his first shot Pacquiaos speed and strategy, along with his movement are out the window. It's only gong to take one punch. After that expect Cotto to steamroll Many Pacquiao in devastating fashion.
i know cotto isn't training as hard as manny,and i wonder why,manny has good spar partners and cotto has two old guys,and that has me a little worried,that cotto is taking manny lightly,i just hope cotto has something under his sleave!!!!GO COTTO!!!!!!
I hope Freedie Roach does not get his way... in boxing there's all up and downs, if there's a low blow than it should be referee who says something about this not Roach. He is only doing this so that cotto does not go to the body at all during the fight.
Nobody is asking Cotto to stop taking on the body, any boxer can do it anytime, all the time they want it. The point is, just don't hit the balls of your opponent, for once it's ok, chances are the probability of the 1st contact would be 60% or more it's unintentional.
Now, assuming you are the boxer and you got hit on the balls, is it ok with you? would it be a good feeling hitting you on the balls?
"Gerry Penalosa described as an awesome performance" C'mmon Gerry, didn't you notice that Roach have;
Alzheimer's disease, Alzheimer's, Alzheimers
a progressive form of presenile dementia that is similar to senile dementia except that it usually starts in the 40s or 50s; first symptoms are impaired memory which is followed by impaired thought and speech and finally complete helplessness.
Even myself would look good if they put me out there with Roach.
