I never thought Tim was anything special to begin with. Knew he was done after Muratzaliev overpowered him.

Lets not go overboard....Tim Tyzu is damaged goods, a shot fighter cashing in on whatever popularity he once had. As for Fundora, he's ok but he's slow and his jab is nothing special. People want to make believe Fundora is Tommy Hearns but he's not, Fundora is just a tall guy that's carefully matched. Put Fundora in with Bakhram Murtazaliev or Bohachuk and that gravy train comes to an end, Fundora gets KTFO.

            He is probably done now.
I'm not sure I agree with this interpretation. They secured him two, arguably undeserved, title shots in quick succession following losses. He just wasn't good enough to win. Padding his record wasn't going to improve him and the title shots may have not have been there if he'd waited. It was a calculated gamble.

Tim Tszyu’s handlers have ruined his career. They maxed him out too soon. He is such a nice kid that I feel sorry for him.

He was game and displayed a ton of heart. However, due to his lack of power; He just had trouble fighting Fundora off of him.

This really shows how bad the Michigan fighters Tim ko’ed in Tony Harrison and Joey Spencer were overrated!

Main event was a draw ---- the co-main was a stopped by the stool ? And what did people learn about the fighters sounds like " we was right all along " could have mailed it in......the results that is three outta four fighter that dont need to be seen again or at least not until they change.

I hope we see those fights. I wouldn’t count Fundora out as he has improved a lot. I think he’s a challenge for anyone. I wouldn’t mind seeing how Ortiz handles him compared to Tszyu since they aren’t too dissimilar physically and stylistically. Ortiz does look a level above Tszyu though.

Ultimately, Tim Tszyu’s career has been a disappointment. I think he’s is too loyal and too stubborn. There was an opportunity to change it up and try to take his game to another level but he ultimately chose to keep doing what he always has. He is a brave fighter, but he is not a smart fighter, and his physical attributes and skills are run of the mill for his weight class. It seems like the ship has sailed. He has been a fun contender to watch has been good for the division. I guess it’s the all Australian grudge match with Zafara next.
