  • Uysk has proven to be the master at beating up these big slow UK stiffs. Time to fight another style that does not suit him perfectly. Fight Parker.

      • Kabayel a great body puncher but won’t be able to go off like that against Usyk. Dubois was terrified of going to the body this time round, and if Kabayel throws hooks with his hands around his waist he’ll get knocked out.

Saying that, him and Parker have took hard fights to get their shot. And whilst they deserve to have a crack, I just want to see Usyk retire. Another fight against fury would but a huge waste of time and money.

Most are saying he quit but it was strange, honestly. That hook from Usyk could've knocked out an elephant but after Dubois got up, he walked STRAIGHT across the ring after he was counted out. I mean, he immeeediately stood up and walked across the ring. Again, that hook could've concussed anything over 1,000 lbs.

He is not wired that way, he might have a combination of both.

The biggest difference was that Usyk won every round of this fight and was never hurt or compromised. Joshua had been hurt a few times against Dubois and Dubios also got rocked by AJ. Joshua's mistake was recklessly going for the kill while Dubois still wasn't completely gone and Joshua was still recovering. Joshua fought that fight really foolishly. These big heavyweights Achilles Heal is their power. It's because they're so big and powerful that they didn't think they had the need to become technically proficient, so they cut corners in their training. They're lazy thinkers and lazy minded fighters. Even the fans still always expect the BIGGER, more powerful guy to beat the smaller guy even when the smaller guy is more skillful and despite what we have witnessed throughout the history of boxing...The more skilled guy has the best advantages, not the more powerful guy.

              • I dunno about Lennox but prime Tyson would have been a stylistic nightmare for Usyk

                Prime Tyson had
                1. Elite Foot speed
                2. Elite Hand speed
                3. Elite Stamina
                4. Elite Chin
                5. Elite Knockout power in both hands
Those 5 things are an impossible list of qualities for Usyk to overcome.

To beat prime Mike Tyson, you had to beat the **** outta of him, round after round. You have to be brave and stand and trade with him centre ring and not take a step back and test his heart and desire. Usyk doesn't fight like that.

But if Usyk did stand toe to toe with Prime Tyson ? He's dead. He would not have the power to hurt Tyson, nor would he have the power that Tyson would respect.

If Usyk got on his bike ? Even worse, Tyson's foot speed would catch him and kill him

And prime Tyson was (And a lotta people don't realise this, and he doesn't get enough credit for it) a gym rat. Young Mike was a spartan, one of the most professional, hardest working heavyweight champs

We are talking prime Tyson, he could run a 5-minute mile, row 2000m in under 7 mins, he trained like a Triathlete.

You know what that means ? That means if Usyk was to get past 4 rounds tyson wouldn't gas like these modern day silverbacks do.

                • I must have turned it off before this happened or was this not apart of the broadcast? Lol

Paul posted it and mentioned them doing MMA fight that has previously be mentioned on social media .

Usyk wrecks him either way lol

Dubois was concussed...I guarantee you he'll be going to the hospital and he'll be having a brain scan. He was hurt badly.

I like Parker. Always liked him and thought he would come again and he definitely deserves the fight. But I don't see him realistically competing with Usyk.

IMO Kabayel might have the best style to be a chance right now. But, again, I don't see anyone beating Usyk.

I'll get pelters for saying this, but Joshua's effort was probably about as good as it gets. I don't think anyone has really pushed him harder and he still won both of those fights pretty conclusively.

I do hope that Usyk sticks around another year or two for Itauma. It might still be a bit soon for Moses, but that would be a really fitting way to sign out.
I have Usyk eventually imposing himself on Parker, but it will be nip and tuck before that happens. Parker has a knack for slowing fights down and with his speed, movement, and counter punching above, he’s going to have success in the early rounds.

Usyk’s the wrong style for Kabayel’s plodding, come forward style. He’d get pieced up.

The second Joshua and the first Fury fight might be Usyk’s toughest fight thus far. Usyk had to go through tough rounds in those fights.

Moses is on the fast track for Usyk. The Whyte fight is a huge step up in opponent. If he passes that, it’ll be a former Usyk opponent and/or a top 10 Heavyweight and we might see that as soon as late 2026. Great style, we’ll see if he has the intangibles to get to and through Usyk.
