Lennox tactics to try to beat Usyk seems elementary. As if Usyk would be dumb enough to be a sitting target and allow himself to be backed up to the ropes and then eat shots. Usyk has much better footwork than Lennox ever encountered and there's no way that Plan A would succeed vs Usyk. With no Plan B I see Lennox taking a boxing lesson from Usyk.

Lennox was very very intelligent but he made some very poor judgments regarding boxing - the first McCall and Rahman fights and predicting both Kirk Johnson and Corrie Sanders would beat Vitali Klitschko lol.

After these comments by Lennox I'm even more certain Usyk would beat him.

My favorite all time HW. He would use his reach/probe jab to set traps for the straight right hand, smother Usyk in the clinch and hit him with those nasty uppercuts, etc. Unlike Joshua, Lennox could adapt when things aren’t going his way.

Would be a great fight! I could see Lennox struggling with Usyk's lateral movement. Usyk might box actual circles around him.
