Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao still mostly wants to make people happy

Manny Pacquiao, though up in age at 46, says the four years away from the ring have helped his body recover, and says he has had to be held back from overtraining in the gym.

Man, it would make me happy for the legend to stay out of the ring. Just do not want a beaten down, shell of himself Manny being what people are talking about. I remember what Ali looked like in his last fight. I remember Holyfield boxing way past when he should have. Not sure I want Manny in those memories.

Barrios being the weakest WW belt holder in the WW history of boxing can lose to PAC. What will happen next is Manny loyalists will proclaim their idol to be a living god, the greatest there ever has been, they will proclaim it to be the greatest win in boxing’s history.By beating the weakest WW champ ever.
Heck, Mosley could unretire and he’d beat Barrios so would Shawn Porter. In fact, Porter would stop Barrios in one round.

Pacquiao is going to be in terrific shape no doubt about it but nobody knows what's going to happen when he gets cracked in the dome.

Pac has a good attitude toward boxing, and life itself.
It's good to hear a positive message, an inspiration for all of us.

We’d be absolutely thrilled if you disappeared from boxing forever. Nobody wants to watch your pathetic fights anyway, they’re obviously rigged, and you’re painfully boring in the ring. Only your delusional fanboys still bother cheering for you

Idk about Molsey. Hes in worst change than Manny. Porter probably could do it. If Thurman can make the weight that fight makes sense.

Mosley is 52 years old so that figures. My point is still the same, there is nothing special about Manny beating Barrios.
