as much as I'm not a fan of Mayweather's backfoot style, at least it can be said he's constantly throwing punches even if they aren't big shots

Dirrell did not throw with any frequency at all, he was flat out running for a lot of the time

maybe this matador style is your idea of boxing, but he took it way beyond the boundaries of defensive fighting, it was defensive running for a large proportion of the fight and it ruined the spectacle and clearly pissed off a couple of the judges

biggest misconception about floyd...

he can punch with the best of them...he knocked the crap out of your boy hatton, for one...unlike your boy hatton, he rarely gets hit...and NEVER gets in trouble...

that is boxing...

i like watching brawls myself, and guys like arturo gatti are good for boxing because they bring excitement to it...but guys like gatti will invariably get their asses handed to them by real boxers like floyd...

Actually Dirrell is the one holding on at to Froch at the end of the round and looked tired, Froch wanted to trade (just as he had wanted to all fight). He caught Froch with a good shot but he wasn't hurt like the US commentators are trying to claim.

Am suprise anyone would say that, Froch was definitely hurt and i hope he doesnt go in there and fight Kessler the way he fought Dirrell because Kessler isnt going to run from Froch and he would let his hands go and put froch down if he sees the same opening that Dirrell saw.

at 1 min mark u can see dirrell wobbles froch and a hurt froch holds and hits dirrell on the back of the head. im not being biased or trying to hate im just tired of all the unjustice that goes on in boxing. ITS NOT RIGHT !!!!!

its obvious to see froch was hurt.. i could care less for either fighter but froch lost that fight and got the hometown decision as expected.. Also that ref shouldnt be allowed to ref anymore fights.. he did a terrible job and froch should have been deducted at least a few points for his illegal tactics
