I just watched Showtime's coverage of the Froch-Dirrell fight, and here's my scoring.

Last night of course I saw the ****ty UK "Primetime" PPV copy of this with unbiased, albeit poor British commentary and I scored it for Froch. Bear in mind that the British commentators scored it for Dirrell before you try that angle. Anyway, gonna watch this fight now then list my scoring. Should be interesting with the American commentary.

If you interested then cool let me know what you think, if you don't give a **** ass then that's cool too. Just try to keep it clean and on topic eh. I will not be arguing over my overall final score either, but if you see any round scored bad then let me know which one and we can compare lol.

Round 1 - 10-9 Froch. Nothing really happened, round goes to the champion by default due to Dirrell not doing nearly enough to take it. 10-9 to Froch.

Round 2 - 10-9 Froch. Landed about the same amount of punches, Dirrell started the running. Froch landed 7-8 glancing jabs, Dirrell landed a few to the body. 20-18 to Froch.

Round 3 - 10-9 Dirrell. Froch finally landed a right but it wasn't effective as he had to run after Dirrell to land it. Dirrell landed good to the body, but he was fighting scared. 29-28 to Froch.

Round 4 - 10-9 Froch. Froch landed alot more in this round than I remember, maybe 15+ punches with the majority of them glancing. Dirrell running away. 39-37 to Froch.

Round 5 - 10-9 Froch. Easily the clearest round so far. Dirrell landed one decent punch in the first 5 seconds then ran and began the holding. Froch outlanded him this round, no question. 49-46 to Froch.

    Round 6
    - 10-9 Dirrell. Crowd lively in this round, Dirrell landed the better of the exchanges and caused Froch to miss alot. Dirrell starting to hug, run and whine. 58-56 to Froch.

Round 7 - 10-9 Dirrel. Dirrell running out of danger and landing some decent punches, Froch left hitting thin air. Froch landed a nice combo to the back of the head. 67-66 to Froch.

Round 8 - 10-9 Froch. Froch landed his best punch of the fight. Dirrell really pushing the "hug a black man" campaign. Dirrell forced back alot. 77-75 to Froch.

Round 9 - 10-9 Dirrell. Rough round and Dirrell showing real signs of not liking it, Froch couldn't catch him and was forced to try to land in the clinch/hug. 86-85 to Froch.

Round 10 - 10-9 Dirrell. Froch hurt in an otherwise even round. Dirrell deducted a point makes it 9-9. Froch trying hard to force the fight, Dirrell smothering. 95-94 to Froch.

    Round 11 - 10-9 Dirrell. Dirrell's best round of the fight. 104-104.

Round 12 - 10-9 Froch. Dirrell started the round well but just tried to con his way for the last 90 seconds. Froch trying to close the fight strong but not connecting well. 114-113 to Froch.

To be honest, there was alot of even rounds which I found hard to score. I think, depending on your interpretation you could score this either way, or maybe even a draw would have been fair. I don't see robbery though like some people claim, I think it was just a classic match up of chalk and cheese. Different strokes for different folks and all that.

Post your own cards with a little analysis eh? I need some evidence if I'm gonna even consider seeing things from your points of view.

I've seen it twice now. At first I saw the live PrimeTime version and scored it for Froch by a single point, then after seeing the US broadcast I had Dirrell a couple of rounds ahead. I can't understand why people can't see this -- Froch looked like **** on Saturday night.

I was rooting for him, and wanted to see Direll KOed, but in all honesty Froch is garbage, and is by far the least skilled in the tournament.

They both looked ****, Froch looked slow and Dirrell was fighting like a girl.

The showtime commentators had Dirrell 2 points ahead after 6 rounds but even they said that the rounds were very close and hard to score.

I'll rewatch it tonight and give my scorecard.
