I have to disagree. While I oppose terrorizing immigrant communities and rounding people up like it's 1937, the vast majority of these folks either did not come here legally or overstayed a tourist visa. If anyone is picked up wrongfully, the feds have ways of ascertaining this and they're released before long. There was a young woman in Cali picked up a few weeks ago while walking to work who was actually born here. She was released quickly. She was profiled ~ that's a whole separate conversation.

Not everyone standing outside Home Depot or CubeSmart for day work is Mexican. Mexico is not the only country with Indigenous-looking people. Of course they're profiling Hispanics. It's pretty obvious and disgusting.

Again, I didn't vote for DJT. I'm registered and vote Independent. Many Hispanics voted for DJT, though, believing he'd target Blacks, especially Black Americans. At what point will you hold your fellow Latinos accountable for voting for this man?

This is truly a baffling statement. Tank is an American whose lineage in this country goes back to the 1600s and possibly before that since the first recorded slave rebellion in what is now the USA happened in the 1520s. The Mexicans and others who are being targeted by ICE are not citizens, entered and stayed illegally, most of which don’t bother to learn the language, and many of which have violent criminal record or organized crime links.

There were already people living here and we didn't ask them. We just showed up by the boatload and ended up killing the majority of them via disease, competition for resources, or outright physical warfare.
