Comments Thread For: Would a Manny Pacquiao win lure Floyd Mayweather Jnr back to the ring??

Is there any chance that Manny Pacquiao, with a win over Mario Barrios on July 19, would be able to coax his former rival out of retirement?

They are over the hill doing exhibition fights. Manny will learn why should he stay retired.

They'll never get Floyd to come back. There's something about being 50-0 that just sounds even better than being 51-0. He likes the way it all ended and unless there are ever money problems I can't see him coming back for an official match against anyone including Roy Jones or Manny Pacquiao.

I say no. Floyd won’t risk his 0 against Pac. He has other options like fighting exhibitions across the globe for millions of dollars.

Reports and sources say that he is on the verge of financial ruin.

I think this will end Pacquiao's indiviual boxing career, but part of Next-Gen boxing it's high time Tag-Team boxing went mainstream and The Great Nash can think of no better bout than Mayweather & Pacquiao (Mayquiao) vs Jake Paul and Logan Paul (The Paul's) for the open World title and this fight will break Box Office records. Tag Team Boxing is the next Wave.

WWF had great individuals, Stone Cold Steve Austin (The Texas Rattlesnake) The Rock, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Kane, HHH, but also legendary tag teams like The Hardy Brothers, The Legion of Doom, Undertaker and Kane were also a tag-team, and many more.

Boxing needs main event tag team bouts, and also undercard tag team bouts. Also, things like promoters boxing each other - Eddie Hearn vs Ben Shalom for example. Even judges and refs getting on the fight card too, and occasionally a couple of guys from the crowd do battle. Let's ****e things up a bit. Nash out - His Majesty

Oh wow, I must have time warped back to 2009 when this might have meant something.
