Well; Oscar in his prime, Berlanga is nowhere near that level, but respect to him and all fighters earning a good living in the most dangerous sport.

"Eight-mile runs"!! That's all we needed to hear. So he's been training to run all this time, and now he finally admits it. He ain't never going to amount to anything remotely close to great in the sport of boxing. I do respect that he's a fighter and that's how he chose to earn a living. However, I do not see him even being compared to the greats of the sport. His brittle hands and fear of defeat will not allow him to achieve what's necessary to be amongst the greats. You have to be a warrior win, lose, or draw at all times. Wish him all the best in his career going forward, though.

The issue with all the crap talking that Berlanga has done is if he loses he is going to look even more foolish and if he wins he will amp it up even more cringier than it has been.

Berlanga’s head has gotten big from fighting a lot of tomato cans over the years. He then goes up against an elite fighter like Canelo and loses that fight. He is mad that Oscar called him out for the boring fight he had with Canelo. It was a boring fight. Now he is mad at the world that at best he is a B level fighter. He will never be at Oscar’s level. He ain’t slapping Oscar either. Berlanga is trying hard to be a tough guy.

DLH would brutalize that semi literate gorilla. Even after years of partying hard non stop. Levels Edgar. As much as I never liked DLH , I did recognize that the guy was actually a great fighter. I rolled with Team Chavez Sr , Trinidad, and Mosley , but I believe in giving props where they are due. DLH was a great fighter in his day and probably still beats Berlanga .
