If not Murtazaliev then Bohachuk is the fight to make. Pushed Vergil Ortiz very close dropping him twice and he could have even got the decision in that fight if he wasn’t on a Goldenboy show. He’s also a big puncher and a good boxer aswell so if he goes in there and destroys him than that’s a statement to introduce yourself to the 154lb division.

He already turned down Ortiz because he was SOOO set on undisputed at welterweight. Then immediately vacates his titles now that Ortiz isn't on the table and there's someone else at welterweight looking good. If he fights Bohachuk or Murtazaliev or Ortiz, great. But I don't think he wants any smoke at all. What are y'all going to say if he fights some 154 IBF contender?

Someone else is looking good because ennis left and hes filling the void. Also that someone else refused to fight ennis. If ennis doesn't fight someone good within a fight or 2 then yes its fair to call him a fraud, ducking, etc...but thst doesn't change Norman's duck.

I imagine he wants to test the water at 154 before facing a titlist. Ortiz wasnt disciplined and deceided to move to 154. Reduce chorizo intake

I’ll give him a pass for first fight at 154, honestly. But hopefully he jumps right in and starts making some noise vs some names because it’s certainly time.

Same, I'm willing to give him a pass for the first one, but I won't be surprised if he talks a lot but picks Tank Davis level of opponents.

Cmon Dag, Ennis proved he has feathers. Left the wbo rankings when Bud was making nothing but mandatory and voluntary defenses AND turned down Buds offer. He also never triggered his mandatory vs Spence and ducked Ortiz already. Thats a certified duck if you ask me.

How was he not fighting guys his own size if he always made the weight, often times with a pound or more to spare? This kind of comment demonstrates your lack of understanding, which is harmful to the sport. If two men both make weight, it's a go. What on Earth is your opinion being based on?

Again, most fighters struggle to make weight. You don't understand boxing if you don't know that much. But again, if a man makes weight, no matter whether he struggled or not, he's within boxing rules. Sebastian Fundora os like 6'4 or 6'5 but he makes 154. Is he a bully picking on smaller people? What weight should he fight at? What would make you happy?
