  • Should trash talk be taken into account when scoring fights?

    Like for me, I use an example of Golovkin vs Alvarez 2

    For months before the fight Golovkin was begging Canelo to stand and fight and not run.

    Then when the fight started Canelo held center ring, pushed forward and Golovkin started back peddling.

    For me instantly I was like ok Golovkin has lost, I didn't care about the punch stats or anything else, if you get what you ask for then start backing off, you lost.

    Yes trash talking should count. I want this sport closer to WWE

      No. I don't think you can factor in external things when scoring a fight

      Makes judging a fight too hard

              Possibly but then again should we factor in things like ped use? Canelo fought scared the first fight and clearly lost, cheats his azz off and fights like a tank after cheating. Maybe the peds just gave him the confidence he could win? And ggg thought he was going to face the same man but he wasn't. He was facing a juiced to the gills fighter.
