    Junior Chávez: Check This Out…

Don’t know if this has been confirmed. If this is true, and I’m inclined to believe it is, Junior is a much darker, nastier individual than any of us ever thought.

The Mexican president wants him to serve any prison sentence in Mexico.

I say no way, lady. If you wanted that you should have punished him for his crimes yourself. The only reason he is even being brought to justice now is because the U.S. got involved, if it had been left up to you he’d still be walking around free.

From everything I've read, he had an active warrant in Mexico since 2023 and DHS officials noticed this and the fact he violated the terms of his visa (and DHS is looking more aggressively at these violations now). He had been living in the US for most of this time, perhaps it wasn't a high enough priority for Mexican authorities to arrange an extradition until he fell into DHS custody.
