Interesting viewpoint, Artur seem to have a mysterious operation leading up to the last few fights, stalling and then coming back stronger. Now he's calling out someone else for delaying. I thought the other story this week was it was going to be staged in Russia, for both of them and that's why it's not happening sooner..... I wouldn't be surprised when it happens if Artur came back stronger than ever..... Personally I think DB has his number and actually won the first fight as well. I want to see the third but I don't see a different result!

Bivol didnt have the profile til he beat Canelo. It was then that the talk of a fight vs Beterbiev began. Lets not pretend Bivol was avoiding anyone. No one was demanding the fight.

Bivol has beaten Beterbiev twice in my opinion.

But if they’re going to do a third fight then sooner rather than later is better. Don’t keep holding up the division, Benavidez is waiting.

So if third fight ever happen, both men know what to expect, it's just more unpleasant for Bivol. Doesn't mean Bivol can win, absolutely he can, but navigating through the punishment again is a risky business. For Beterbiev the challenge is similar, how to land cleanly more and getting hit less
The turning point in the rematch was when Bivol used more angles and used his legs more. He knows what to expect Joe in terms if Artur's power early and late.

He was busted up in both fights.

In the rematch he got a huge cut in the last round. If it carried on it would have been very tough to keep Beterbiev off of him IMO.

You seen the facial expression of Bivol in the ring when he was asked about a 3rd match. He was so happy celebrating his win celebrating being unified champion and the reporter asked him if he wanted another 12 rounds and the look on the face said it all he dont want or need another 12 rounds of that, even if he wins none of it is fun or easy. Im not sure if he had even considered a 3rd fight if he won.

Honestly I think those 2 fights with beter probably shortened his career the same way we seen 3 fights and multiple knockdowns from wilder take a lot out of Fury.

I dont know if they have contractual obligations or what, Bivol just needs to be honest and if they have no contractual obligations and if he dont want the 3rd fight just tell Beter and the fans and lets all move on. Beter doesnt have much time left and I would rather see him get another fight in with someone else before he retires. The second Bivol fight is the first fight I ever seen Beter looking tired in the late rounds, so he is slowing down.

Im ok with them not fighting a 3rd fight and Im a Beter fan myself wanted him to win in a clear and decisive fashion but it looks like they are so evenly matched I think a 3rd fight will be another close decision and it would also take a lot out of Bivol, im fine with Bivol wanting to extend his career and avoid a 3rd fight if thats what they all want to do as I like Bivol a lot as well.

Beterbiev didn’t have to give him the rematch after the first one but he did and rightly so
Would be only right for Bivol to return the favour
