I don't think professional boxing fights should be called off 'Due to cuts. Unless they are extremely serious cuts, maybe in areas that can create more lasting damage in a fighters career'.

When Vitali Kiltschko fought Lennox Lewis 'And was cut by a Lennox Lewis punch, that injury was extremely serious. If the fight would have not been stopped, there was a high likely-hood that Kiltschko's future career would have been destroyed. As Lennox Lewis was no matter what people say? He was inflicting the most damage out of the two fighters, and he seemed to be more invulnerable to Vitali Kiltschko's power as the fight progressed'.

I think the stoppage of Harlem Eubank vs Jack Catterall was ridiculous 'The fight after 6 rounds, was not a brutal fight. And neither fighter had sustained much damage'.

Note: I understand that certain folk these days want to make combat sports more safer for the competitors 'But if this is the case in boxing, stopping fights early after a graze or a cut in my opinion? Is not how to achieve that goal. If people want to improve the sport from a safety perspective, then they should bring back the same day weigh in rule. Because in reality most of the dangers of boxing, are amplified when fighters weight drain themselves. And compete in fights in sub-optimal condition'.

The stoppage was terrible, and it ruined the entire boxing event 'I don't think Jack Catterall should count this win on his resume, as legitimate victory. There was still 6 rounds left to go in the fight, and Harlem Eubank was still in there trying to win'.

To conclude: Jack Catterall may have marginally been the better fighter in the first 6 rounds 'But in the latter half of the fight, nobody knows how the action would have developed. I don't particular think Catterall is a fighter who has many gears, so? The pace he was fighting at for the first 6 rounds, may have been his highest intensity. I think Adam Booth as a great boxing strategist would of realized that Eubank needs to stand his ground more, unleash a spitfire attack and utilize his greater speed. That is how I imagine the latter half of the fight action would of developed, making the fight more competitive'.

I think there may be a possibility that this fight is made again 'Jack Catterall has never been a World Champion. And the rematch would probably be a bigger event. If this situation does not occur? Neither fighter has really come out of this fight losing much. Catterall can potentially pursue a trilogy fight with Josh Taylor, and Eubank can target potential future fights against Conor Benn at 147 pounds' etc.

lets be clear here Eubank was woeful at best, his movement around the ring antics were very 70s dancing-esque

Wow....never thought I'd be seeing 0 offense and 0 defence from two boxers in a ring.

The 2-1, this Eubank dude didn’t throw a single one! The 2-1 what needs to be used against a guy hiding behind the rangy left hand and break his rhythm! It’s like he never watched the Barboza fight smh…

Catterall might have some skills but his fights are hard to watch. His whole game is to use feints, movement and distance to nullify his opponents offense to the point that the couple of punches he lands is good enough to steal the round.

Eubank's style was a cheap version of his cousin's. I never found Chris to be all that smooth in the ring and Harlem was even worse
