They didnt call him GI Joe Calzaghe for nothing! Calzaghe born and raised in Omaha nebraska. They called him the slapping cornhusker as we all know. I Loved going down to the state fair as a young lad to watch him fight.

Sugar Ray lost a few times and you say nothing.

But but but …. But nothing.
You only mention losses because thats the only card you can play to compare to Floyd since hes "undefeated" if you mention wins ali and Leonard blow Floyd away with quality wins.

Not saying hes not the best American fighter of those decades, I would have to do more research but the difference is vast. Ali beat prime Frazier and foreman during the 70s. Leonard beat prime or near prime Duran, hearns, and hagler.

I dont see floyd having 1 win on par with those. Bunch of old guys sure but those wins arent holding up over time, you could say canelo but then we know what happened with the weight limit which takes it from an a level win to something far from it.

I think we can safely deem the 00's and 10's the dead era in boxing. Let's hope the 20s produce some real fighters and with guys like usyk and inoue leading the way it's looking good. These guys actually want to fight. It's back to the Alis and leonards of old.

I was just making a point most boxing fans have a disstain for American Fighters especially the "slick" fighting style ones. Thats why there's not alot of people on this trend.

After I remind you that Ali & SRL lost, you move goal posts to Floyd’s undefeated record. I never mentioned it. I only reminded you that Ali and SRL lost. Should they not be on the fighter of the decade because of those losses? Isn’t that your logic?

Once again, you are shifting goal posts and trying really hard.
I am responding what you wrote about Floyd? Why are you bringing up Usyk and Calzaghe?

I don't recall any of those fights had the same dynamic with the ref illegally interfering in favor of the boxer on the receiving end.

When did a ref do something illegally in a floyd fight?
