Eddie Hearn doesn’t want Callum Smith to get his ass kicked by Benavidez. He’s hoping Callum can just play it safe and wait it out and become an email champion.

If Benny and Turki really wanted the fight they could of made it. Just offer what Smith would accept. Everyone has a price particularly if it means only getting punched in the head once rather than 2 or 3 times. As I said it's that simple.

He might get EMAILED the belt. He won’t have to fight for it. If he gets stopped by opening his Gmail he got a HUGE problem.

sounds to me like he knew this was a dangerous and bruising fight, and wanted enough money in case it shorted his career.......Hearn knows this too....smart move actually, he had no chance against David.

Really? So you just pay a fighter a ridiculous amount he isn't worth if he asks for it? lol.

Stop excusing him. He priced himself out.
He prefers to become an "email champ".

If the opportunity is there for Callum Smith 'I think he should take the fight vs David Benavidez'.

David Benavidez at 175 pounds 'So far has not been a monster puncher, and skill for skill he is completely overrated. Without any doubt Benavidez is a World level fighter, but? I don't rate him at the level of being one the best pound for pound skilled fighters in the world. But the way certain folk in the boxing community, praise and merit Benavidez. Throughout boxing history only really super elite fighters have received that level of credit'.

Note: For whatever reason the media machine in boxing 'Has chosen David Benavidez, and decided to build him up as a monster fighter. I think this is due to his style of fighting which is easily comprehended and popular with casual sports fans. But I personally think? Hardcore boxing fans, and analyst, know that Benavidez is at best just a solid world level fighter'.

I rate Callum Smith skill for skill as a better fighter than David Benavidez 'And at 175 pounds, Smith's power is definitively more proven. Stylistically it is a difficult fight for Smith, but very winnable'.

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol 'Are operating at their own level in the 175 pound division. Both in technical skill level, and in the case of Artur Beterviev? Power generation'.

David Benavidez has never shown that he has the ability to operate anywhere near that level 'He has never really been the most talented fighter defensively, and his offense in reality is very straight forward and basic. At 168 pounds Benavidez was able to overhaul his opponents, supported by in part the tactics of weight draining himself in order to be the big man in fight night'.

But now we are at the stage in David Benavidez's career 'Where he had to move up into the 175 pounds division, due to no longer being able to make the 168 pounds limit in optimal condition. The negative long term affects of weight draining himself, were most likely starting to surface which forced him into making this career move. And at 175 pounds, as I stated at the beginning of most post? Although the media are trying their best to build an aura of intimidation around Benavidez, I honestly don't believe his presents in the 175 pounds divisions is having that level of mass effect on his potential competitors'.

To conclude: Of course David Benavidez has aspects of his game which are impressive 'Such as his aggression, and ability to produce punch combinations with not much reset between individual attacks. But I don't think this is enough to separate him from the chasing pack behind Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev'.

David Benavidez in my opinion, from my perspective 'Would only be a very slight favourite in a fight against Callum Smith' etc.
