We know what happens with tune up fights to prepare for the bigger intended fight. One of them will lose then Fury will retire, Joshua will disappear and talk about coming back better than ever. Then they will have another tune up and one of them will lose.

Just set the fight, give them both enought time to train and be in shape.

There’s no use in making kicking the can down the road anymore especially when these guys are past their best days are behind him. Fury is as flaky with retirement (in and out) and Joshua’s getting surgery.

They should just make it now and call it a day. There’s no runway to “build” a fight for these two. The Brits will eat it up regardless. They should just make it already and call it a day.
Parker was done. Dubois was done. And now? Let them both get some belief and get some significance back into the fight. If they can

Fair point. But Parker has had a few fights already, and so has Dubois…I don’t necessarily think Fury is shot, but AJ…eehhh. He gives me Zab Judah circa 2003-2005 vibes.

You don’t know what you’re going to get now with him. And with that sort of inconsistency, I don’t think he can get another significant streak going to really move the needle that significantly in promotions to warrant putting together tune-up fights.

Personally I hope neither ever enter the ring again, Wilder too.

The heavyweight division is in such a weak era that it gets excited about making fights with a guy like Joshua who seems done, but did have great success in his career.

Of course, Fury had an even better career, and will not be forgotten for the Wilder trilogy. The two fights with Usyk were relatively close, so there's a fair demand for another, although some think Usyk is just a bit better.

The first Usyk fight might’ve been closer than anything but the right man won
The second was Usyk the whole way
No need for a third but Turki flexing his power

They're are both waiting for Usyk Dubois in the hope of getting a vacated belt, or if Dubois wins they will both try to get that fight

Joshua needs a fight after he was again knocked from pillar to post and brutally KO'd ' he wisely chose to sit the rematch out otherwise he'd be coming back after two brutal KO's .They are both worth over £100m and there's some great young talent out there , please go away.

Or better still don't bother. It's just a money grab for them both.
