"Fury revealed that he is seriously considering offers to return, naming Anthony Joshua and Usyk as two potential opponents. He then also claimed this morning that a return was confirmed for April 18 next year at Wembley Stadium against Usyk. Boxing Scene later discovered that there have been no talks and that the venue is not available."

Sometimes, reading Tyson Fury articles is physically painful.

Both need a win or two before they fight each other

Why? It just delays things unnecessarily and won't make the fight any bigger. It's already well over marinated so just get on with it.

Seeing Fury in that suit is painful, yeah.

"And with all due respect, no one's really interested."

Should have just ended it there Eddie.

Its like Brooke V Khan, they will fight but not when they should have.

Maybe in the meantime Fury will set up another Chisora trilogy.

It will make it bigger. At the moment they're both done, it's just a fight for old times sake. Go prove that you still should be feared. Maybe see if the belts get split up and go make a grab for one or two. Win em and then it becomes the mega fight it was before

I'm not interested in watching any tuneup fights. Back when fighters fought 4 times in a year, a tuneup every now and then was expected. These guys fight once or twice a year. They just want to pad their wallets with TBAs for PPV money.

There’s no use in marinating these two anymore.

Joshua’s gotten upset by Usyk twice, smashed to bits by Dubois, and Fury has also been beaten twice by Usyk and looked dreadful against Ngannou.

There’s no use in making kicking the can down the road anymore especially when these guys are past their best days are behind him. Fury is as flaky with retirement (in and out) and Joshua’s getting surgery.

They should just make it now and call it a day. There’s no runway to “build” a fight for these two. The Brits will eat it up regardless. They should just make it already and call it a day.
