This is true for athletes though. They can get a temp visa when you're in sports/entertainment and need to participate. Though based on what others have said, it sounds like he was already here on an overstayed visa. If anything, this is just another media play. They figure, why not go after a guy after just having a big PPV event, to put more attention on the subject matter. It'll get lots of people to think, woa! Even people at the top of business/entertainment can be removed. Though it was an obvious move that they wanted to wait for the fight to go down to make it that much more dramatic. It's reached top news websites and media, so they accomplished their goal.

¿Since when was he in the u.s.? He wasn't hiding or came in on the sneak tip. All his moves towards this fight were all over social media. And they waited till after the fight to arrest & deport him. This just doesn't make sense. Unless they want to prevent him from recieving the $$$$$ from the fight.

ICE reportedly has a 3000 arrest per day quota. That’s a lot of bodies. It’s possible that they just didn’t get to him until now. Nothing with the government is ever very efficient, unless you’re like public enemy #1.
