Serrano won both. If Amanda doesn't at least drop her this time, she'll get robbed again.

If I recall correctly the fans on Boxrec scored the first fight for Taylor and the second for Serrano. Just putting that out there. Not as many fans have been outraged as one might believe. And this idea that Amanda is smaller than Katie seems misguided to me. Serrano is listed as being half an inch taller than Taylor. Amanda also seems to have a more muscular body. Katie has a huge neck, but that’s about it. These two women have indeed put on a show for the ages, and I lean towards Serrano to finally pull off the win. Amanda is simply younger, while Katie is 39. Despite what the author says, age is not just a number.

Serrano will get this because she is the better fighter at this stage and when judges get it wrong in the previous fight then the new set of judges have that in their minds and are actively looking for reasons to give rounds o the 'wronged' fighter - just the way it works - and apart from that she might get the ko anyway - although Taylor has the largest neck I've ever seen on a woman, she needs it too as she takes a lot of punishment

Serrano has probably the better chin but…for someone that tends to fight on the outside, Katie Taylor has been through A TON of hard fought wars: twice to Persoon, twice with Cameron, twice with Serrano. Those were all tough fights.

And eventually with that bounce bounce bounce on your toes constant movement, it’s going to wear down.

You figure it has to, right?

I hope Amanda can pull this off.

That’s not always the case, but you’re right. It’s a subconscious over correction, but it doesn’t always happen.

Think Pacquiao-Marquez, the judges always favored Pacquiao no matter how clean Marquez’s counter punches were.

Lots of robberies also for Taylor
              That Persoon fight was atrocious
And I also believe she lost both fights to Serrano although the first one was closer

Amanda would certainly deserve it. Seems like a sweet girl, too. Hard to believe these two are actually friends, with the way they go to war with each other, but respectful warfare often creates undying bonds. And yeah, it seems to me that Katie already shows signs of slurring speech. Too many wars.

I think she’s always spoken like that. It’s a thick Irish, monotone brogue that I have to pay close attention to understand.

All in all, I totally appreciate the class they’ve shown in the lead up to all three fights. Nothing but class although…in that last press conference I like how Amanda called Katie out for backing out of the handshake agreement in the second post fight interview where Katie said she would be willing to fight twelve 3 minute rounds.

When I watched that live, I knew Katie was just saying that in the “feel good” post fight euphoria and that she would strictly ask to just keep a third potential fight with women’s rules. Katie DOES NOT have the gas tank for that kind of war of attrition.

Agreeing to that would be like a sprinter
agreeing to compete against a marathoner in a marathon and expecting to beat him.

Had they made the fight 12 3’s the odds would be sharply skewed towards Amanda.

I’d have to watch Persoon/Taylor 1 to see how close it was. My guess is that Taylor was busier and Persoon had Taylor on shaky legs on a couple occasions down the stretch and since Persoon finished stronger, a lot would call “robbery”.

Maybe similar to Hopkins/Taylor 1…where Taylor was absolutely looking the goods in the first half. Then the tires deflated in rounds 7 and 8, and then rounds 9 and on his tires exploded and Hopkins just tore him apart. It was an amazing rally, but he was too far down the hole to do anything by then.
