Tyson, Chavez and Woodley all for large portions of the fight just stood there and literally stared at Jake without even throwing. Its a continuing trend for jake paul that either his opponents are so memorized by his skills that they are afraid to throw or they have arrangements made to not throw. Its also blatantly obvious that in return Jake carried tyson.


I also dont get why you think that any agreements like the above would be written on paper or in an NDA. Do you think all the fights the mafia fixed they admitted to it on paper in writing? lmfao

1. I wouldn’t take a passing comment from Logan Paul to Floyd Mayweather such as, “Take it easy, champ! It’s just an exhibition.” as a building block for corruption or fixing fights. We don’t need to put quotation marks around the word for that event, because it was officially a non-sanctioned bout. Miami wouldn’t sanction it by any organization, which is why there weren’t any judges for that fight. It was, through and through, an exhibition. A glorified exhibition of the highest order. Legal fleecing. Mayweather was never a puncher above 140…and he was fighting a guy who, despite being inexperienced and awkward, was able to tough it out by compensating by his natural athleticism. You’d have a better argument for illegality if you pointed to all the controversies surrounding Logan Paul’s shady NFT business…but we’re discussing Jake Paul, not Logan.

2. Tyson just stood there without punching…? Please don’t tell me you legitimately thought Tyson had any sort of shot to defeat Paul…? This isn’t anime where the old man can suddenly gather his years of experience and will his physically inactive, shroom and marijuana-addled, nearly 60 year old body into being competitive against a guy who, despise not being world-class, is decent enough to take a punch and punch back. He didn’t need to sign any sort of NDA. Paul is a decent enough puncher that Tyson wasn’t going to pull on the draw. Whether Paul or not carried him, that’s irrelevant. Paul would’ve drawn much more ire than he already has if he had seriously hurt a senior citizen…moreover, what horrible press his brand would’ve gotten and negative publicity he and even the Texas athletic commission would’ve been saddled with in a worst case scenario. There’s nothing illegal about a fighter “taking it easy” on another. That’s like saying “Canelo carried Munguia”, “Floyd carried Berto”, “Pacquiao carried Margarito”. Who cares? One is toughing it out, the other one is resting from whooping ass. What’s your point? Honestly.

3. NDA’s being in explicit language of being “fixed”. Okay, I over-reached. I’m trying to make a point about the whole NDA thing.

For the record, do you believe Paul has fixed his fights? If he has, I’ll eat my words. I’m a stand-up guy. I just think you simply have to jump through too many hoops to pull this off repeatedly…and if it turned that it was, I wouldn’t even be mad. I’d be more impressed by the way he was able to pull it off while simultaneously completely shocked by how many lack of checks and balances there were in the whole boxing pipeline.

Heck if haymon an "advisor" can put it in his contract that his fighters cant bad mouth him in his slave contract or he'll take legal action then im sure nda's of the sort exist.

There is absolutely NO WAY that Jake Paul is going to fight Zurdo. He is just doing what he does best - promoting, keeping his name up in the conversations, staying relevant on social media. He has no intentions of fighting Zurdo. He lost to the only ACTIVE boxer he ever faced in Tommy Fury and Zurdo is levels above Tommy Fury so a fight like that makes no sense for Jake Paul. Jake Paul is just talking BS and fans are gobbling it up. He will continue to make zillions no matter whom he fights, but he will definitely not fight a currently active world champion at the peak of his powers. Maybe he will fight Badou Jack in a year or two - he is 41 now, so at 42 or 43 it could possibly make sense.

Andy Lee was a great win to be fair, and he had Maravilla on Bambi legs (despite being thoroughly outclassed) – but both can be attributed to the way he was able to drain down as a big boy. As soon as he left 160 he had no advantages.

I get what you’re saying but he will rinse and repeat meaning he lost to Fury , fought some more inactive fighters or Wtv and now he’s getting ranked
Fight Zurdo or whoever and then back to cans etc etc
