Can you imagine putting that into a contract?

“Fighter B agrees to not throw more than X amount of punches before the end of the 8th round?”

    And an NDA to boot…?

You can’t have an NDA if the act or circumstances imply something illegal going on.

We can’t pretend that Chavez all of a sudden was a monster back in his day. He never was. Those that were hanging their hopes on him (such as me) were simply overestimating his experience and thinking he’d have a bag of tricks ready for fight night.

Chavez rolled the dice and it came up snake eyes.
I'm not married to the suggestion or anything, and far from a conspiracy theorist.

Let me ask you this... Does Paul strike you as someone who gives a flip about breaking a federal crime? Especially if... He's already done it once and gotten away with it?

Not saying he would or did.

I'm not a boxing historian so my knowledge of the past is limited; has there ever been proven rigging and did anyone do time for it? A cursory Google search turns up some stuff in the 2016 Olympics and these three:

    LaMotta vs Fox
    Si-Hun vs Jones Jr.
    Fitzsimmons vs Sharkey

That says a lot about what he’s really all about

Speaking of a title shot, Paul said, “That’s the goal, the only thing I haven’t accomplished after knockout of the year [versus Tyron Woodley] and most-watched fight in history [versus Mike Tyson]. I neutralize my opponents with my footwork, movement and feints, and they can’t get past my jab.”

This ^^^^^^^^ almost made me vomit
Paul knows the minute he faces an ACTIVE fighter , chalk up another L
He will mos def have his pick of the litter. Any one of the champs would jump at a chance to fight him because of the bag Paul brings. But he may fight Badou Jack. Hes the least active of the 3 champs and the oldest at 41. Jake wont touch Zurdo or Opetai, both will use him as a mop, for sure. He may even skip over cruiser champs and fight a heavyweight but none of the champs at heavy.

I think if he does pick Badou Jack , he still gets his ass handed to him
Any active fighter will beat him as easy as Tommy fughin Fury did

20 years ago you wouldve been right but now these fighters stay ducking one another because of marketability. Different time different game. I wish you were right though. Turned my fav sport into a laughing stock.

Did Paul really just try to say that Chavez Jr. is a more accomplished fighter than Dorticos?

Literally all of Dorticos' losses have been against elite competition with multiple world titles on the line:
-Lost in his first WBA title defense in a unification with IBF world titlist Murat Gassiev
-Lost his IBF world title in a vacant lineal/TBRB/Ring world championship fight against Mairis Briedis
-Lost in a WBO/WBA world title challenge against Gilberto Ramirez

              Meanwhile Chavez has lost to:
              Jake Paul
              Anderson Silva
              Mario Abel Cazares
              Andrzej Fonfara

              among others.

he has zero chance against zurdo, zero. zurdo could have half the talent but as long as he has that same conditioning he is running paul over in the late rounds. paul was gassed by round 7 look at him inbetween rounds he looks like death and there was no fight yet! all he did is chase a non punching chavez around the ring and he was dying in there.

dorticos is active under 40, full sized cruise and hits like a mule.

jake is never fighting any of those guys. he will trash talk and say hes better and go fight some bum barenuckle fighter or someone over 50 like de la hoya or 56 year old roy jones.

mcgreggor sparring paulie malinaggi is a more legitimate fight than a jake paul side show

You don't know how non disclosure agreements work do you?

Heck if haymon an "advisor" can put it in his contract that his fighters cant bad mouth him in his slave contract or he'll take legal action then im sure nda's of the sort exist.

Look at pro wrestling with vinc mcmahon and that one girl. She was happy to sign that nda and send pics and videos so long as the money kept coming

Logan is on record reminding Floyd at the start of their "fight" to "take it easy champ its just an exhibition"

Tyson, Chavez and Woodley all for large portions of the fight just stood there and literally stared at Jake without even throwing. Its a continuing trend for jake paul that either his opponents are so memorized by his skills that they are afraid to throw or they have arrangements made to not throw. Its also blatantly obvious that in return Jake carried tyson.

I also dont get why you think that any agreements like the above would be written on paper or in an NDA. Do you think all the fights the mafia fixed they admitted to it on paper in writing? lmfao
