Bob Arum called Devin Haney a “track star,” suggesting Haney relies too much on movement and avoids toe-to-toe action in the ring. instagram pro The remark criticized Haney’s defensive style, implying it's less exciting for fans, especially ahead of his fight with Brian Norman Jr., where Arum wants a more engaging performance.

The judges will hear these comments, Haney and his team will heat these comments. Maybe Haney decides to trade more with Norman which benefits Bob's fighter....If Haney does run his way maybe it sways how the judges score it, if. It then Bob blames the loss on Haney's running.

It's probably just words but Bob usually tries every angle...and he likes to talk s#it.
Wise words from a very good poster that has seen the okie doke for years from Bob.

If the Garcia fight left Devin that scared, at least exit the sport with dignity. The kid was so scared I stopped watching. To make it worse, he fought like that & talked trash at the same time which adds to people's anger. Few are betting on Devin and if he loses, he's going to be frozen out and relegated to stepping stone status like Broner.
I've been praying for this before the Garcia fight. When Garcia beat him, I was super hyped that it was the end of Haney and we could be done talking about him. After the Garica win/Haney loss got reversed, I'm more pissed than ever with Garcia for being a cheat bum who ruined that moment, and that now we need to continue hearing about Haney when he could of been moved to the shadows earlier.

Praying Brian Norman Jr. beats the brakes off Haney. It's the perfect fight of who I want to see continue moving forward to bigger and better things and who I want to never see in the ring again, lol. It would be a sad day where an exciting fighter like Norman loses and we have to continue watching the runner in future fights while Norman gets delegated to gate keeper.

Devin started to fight more exciting, nobody gave him credit.
He fought a drug cheat who couldn't be bothered cutting weight still took the fight (should have pulled out tbh) and took it to him even after being dropped multiple times. What happened? The 'fans' treated Haney like he was the drug cheat.

They will never give Haney the slightest bit of credit ever, even if he stops Norman Jr they'll say he blew up too much weight, Norman Jr was a bum or something.

Devin needs to forget trying to impress people who will hate on him no matter what, just be him and do what he does best even if it deemed boring. If they want excitement go watch some Mexican boxing or UFC
