    Joe Parker is getting overrated

He's had some good wins lately, BUT...

Zhang: 40, no gas tank, Kabayel stood in front of him and stopped him

Wilder: 40, shot, poleaxed by Zhang, nothing left

Bakole: 40 stone, fat, jet lag, schooled by that Nigerian bum

Fact is all 3 of parkers recent impressive wins have INSTANTLY aged horribly, and there's nothing to suggest he's any better of a fighter than got ko by Joe Joyce

Heavyweight is an absolute wasteland in case you hadn't noticed. You can asterisk his wins if you want but the reality is there's nobody out there besides Parker or Kabayel for Usyk to fight after he dismantles Dubois again.

Who else is he supposed to fight? Zhang, Ajagba, Hrgovic, Wardley? Chisora or Joshua again? Bakole? Fury again? Baby Itauma? The ghost of Andy Ruiz?

Because that covers every name in the TBRB, Ring, or ESPN heavyweight top 10. Beyond that you're looking at washed up geezers like Wilder or Pulev or absolute no-hopers like Anderson.

Sniffles Dubois certainly didnt have the balls to find out if Parker was overrated or not.

Joshua and Whyte have ducked rematches despite being called out in the most entertaining fashion.

Kudos to Bakole for stepping up while Doobie was ****ting his pants but theres nothing to suggest the same thing wouldn't have happened to him.

Maybe Parker is overrated. It makes a change from him being underrated for years.

Give the man his flowers. He's earnt the next title shot going and if not then just email him the belt. He deserves it!
Interestingly if he gets emailed the belt he will probably be the most undeserving 2 time heavyweight champ in history having won his first title in a robbery over Ruiz.

Yup and not long ago he was going 12 rounds with Jack Massey

He's a serviceable contender vs other contenders but I have no desire to see him get 12-0 vs Usyk

Imo he should just lose to Kabayel so we can have kabayel vs Usyk possible if Usyk fights on after Dubois.

Joseph Parker is being overrated by people who? Don't know much about boxing, or have some sort of narrative against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The fact of the matter is? Joseph Parker is no rookie fighter 'He has been around for many years. When all three Heavyweight mountains were at their peak? What exactly was Parker doing? I will tell you what he was doing; he was being beaten by Anthony Joshua in second gear quite easily. He was also being beaten by Dillian Whyte, producing underwhelming performance vs Hughie Fury and then being smashed up by Joe Joyce in the latter part of that era. Those are the objective facts of his resume'.

I have always thought Joseph Parker was a solid fighter 'And I do actually rate him. But he is nowhere near the level of Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua 'Even his latest wins against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang are great wins to have on his resume. But the action produced during those fights was nothing really special, Joseph Parker himself was very reluctant to rate his performance vs Deontay Wilder as his best ever performance. Parker and his whole team were amazed at how easy the fight was, and the limited resistance Wilder was giving Parker in the fight'.

Note: To date Joseph Parker's best overall performance in my opinion 'Is against Joe Joyce. For a period of time in Joyce's career? He was a top level Heavyweight fighter, and a very formidable heavyweight to beat. The night Joseph Parker collided with Joe Joyce, that was a pivotal time in both fighters' careers. Joyce was at his absolute peak, people must factor in? That it was Joe Joyce who before Oleksandr Uysk, smashed up Daniel Dubois who lost courageously, after being systematically beaten up by Joyce'.

I have always maintained that it was not Zhilei Zhang who inflicted career altering damage on Joe Joyce 'It was Joseph Parker. And I stated this in the immediate aftermath of the fight. While many other people within the boxing community at the time, were beginning to back Joe Joyce against both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. I was one of the very few people who was concerned, and not underrating the brutality of his fight against Joseph Parker'.

So in recent times, the way people are attempting to make out that Joseph Parker 'Is some sort of avoided Heavyweight in the game. Yes, I think those folk in the boxing community are overrating Joseph Parker. Anthony Joshua beat Joseph Parker when he was an undefeated WBO World Heavyweight Champion. And throughout the years we have seen many other heavyweight fighters beat him, or perform very well against him'.

Joseph Parker to his credit has taken his opportunities 'During the latter part of this heavyweight era. And he as beaten first Deontay Wilder who was miles outside of his peak, and then Zhilei Zhang. Those are no doubt, great wins. But in comparison to both Tyson Fury's and Anthony Joshua's resume, what is the big deal? Zhilei Zhang was decked and smashed up by Anthony Joshua during the 2012 Olympics. The Olympic tournament which Anthony Joshua won'.

I have stated this many times before, Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel and Zhilei Zhang, those Heavyweight fighters have all been getting overrated. People are behaving like they are rookie fighters, when in reality? They have been around competing for many years, over a decade. They have been fighting throughout the entire heavyweight reigns of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder'.

Zhang's first professional fight was in 2014, Parker's first fight was in 2012 and Kabayel's first fight was in 2011. So what does this information prove? It is evidence that for the large majority of this heavyweight era, they have been complete non factors at World and Elite level. Out of those three Heavyweight fighters, it is only Joseph Parker who can genuinely claim to have ever been a World level fighter, because he was once upon a time a Undefeated WBO World Heavyweight Champion'.

And this is why I don't personally rate any of those fighters super highly 'To the point where I would be apprehensive if Anthony Joshua even at this stage of his career, was matched against any of those fighters in his comeback fight. They are all out of condition, compared to Joshua'.

Go and look at Agit Kabayel's 2017 fight vs Derek Chisora 'It was a very close fight, against a Chisora who by his own admittance under performed. This was the stage in Chisora's career, when many people around him including Frank Warren were losing believe in his ability and conduct in the game. Agit Kabayel while weighing in at 234 pounds, was pushed in a very close fight. That is Agit Kabayel's best win on his resume, even still to date'.

To conclude: If people look at the details of the game, and fighters resume 'A story will be revealed. And the story of this latest group of fighters such as Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel and Zhilei Zhang. Is that they have been around competing for many years, for the entire Heavyweight reigns of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. And for the large majority of that time they have all been complete non factors in the game at top level. Joseph Parker is the only fighter in that group of fighters, who for a very brief time in his career? Can he claim to have been a genuine World level Heavyweight fighter, because he was the undefeated WBO Heavyweight Champion before challenging Anthony Joshua back in 2018'.

I would be made up if Anthony Joshua's comeback fight was against Joseph Parker II 'Because stylistically it is not really the most dangerous fight for Joshua. But a win would gain him a lot of momentum in his career. It is actually a great fight for both fighters because of those dynamics; the competitors will have a lot to each gain from a win. Joseph Parker's team around him, need to start capitalizing on his position in the game. In my opinion his next fight should ether be a World title fight, or a mega fight against a fighter at the level of Anthony Joshua' etc.

Only because Whyte was credited with a knockdown on a blatant headbutt.
