Yeah, I agree. Let's assume he beats DuBois again. At some point the bigger (and they are ) younger (and they most certainly are) HW's get him. Period. It is not about his hunger, training, dedication, or love of the sport. It is simply that since Usyk moved up from a historic run through a very deep CW division, his path to success in the HW division revolves around him being near perfect. The natural power and length that Usyk gives up to natural HW fighters is simply undeniable. Why keep going? Usyk has been good with his money, is one of the few fighters of this century undefeated (again, I am assuming he dusts DuBois), he is a hero in his country, and he is a fun, goofy personality that will be welcomed after he is retired. I would rather not see Usyk push his luck against the young guns of this division and end up KO'd after a scary connection against his skull when his legacy is assured.

Maybe do the Parker fight after this. That would be a fun chess match between 2 cerebral boxers. But no, I will cheer for him to retire as undisputed again after this fight as opposed to pushing his luck and putting his health on the line against boxers chomping at the bit to end his title run.

The Parker fight is the only one that even makes sense after this. What "young guns" would be a threat to Usyk? He should retire after this or fight Parker, then retire.

Ya'll keep sleeping on Big Doobie. I like Usyk , but the new Daniel "Big Doobie " Dubois is going to knock his block off. That's just the way that it is. I'll be serving CROW the day after the fight,ya'll can eat it boiled while you BEND THE KNEE to your new Undisputed King of The Heavyweights , Daniel The Decapitator Dubois !

Usyk has nothing left to prove. Dubois is a good challenge because he can get a convincing win against a strong, young, hungry fighter. But after this, what more can he do? He's a legend. The Wilder fight is a what if because Wilder has already lost major bouts and it doesn't really need to happen. Usyk could retire on top. I hope he does. I'll miss watching him fight but it would be nice to see him go out on top.

If it happens, I will be happy to give the props to him. But I see the same DuBois in skill level, just one a tad smarter in the ring. I see nothing he brings to the table over Usyk but power, and seeing how Usyk won basically every round in spite of that, I will back Usyk,

But hey... I own all my wrong predictions. I picked Joe Joyce over Zhang in the freaking rematch. So... yeah. There is that.

Tell you what , DDD has reinvented himself that is for sure
Usyk is not an ignorant unexperienced boxer and imo will seek to win in a different manner
Now can DDD change his game plan and seek victory ?
Yes he can but most boxers keep fall8ng back on what got them where they are
Doobie’s ring iq is nowhere close to Usyk’s and that will be the determining factor imo

Usyk’s legacy is definitely solidified—whether he fights on or retires, he’s already among the greats. But while we’re on the topic of smart bets and underdog stories, I’ve been checking out this platform called PK365 Game. It’s not boxing, but it’s a fun way to test your luck and strategy with real rewards. Worth a look if you enjoy competitive games outside the ring too.
