mic is right the win against Lazcano should not be overlooked. Juan is an excellent fighter that no one really wanted a piece of...JL gave Lazcano a horrible beating in an amazing fight that is rarely talked about...

JL's comp in the last few years has been as good as any other fighter in the sport if he beats Diego which I too think he will then this guy may not be good but great...

Just ask Floyd how good this guy is!!!

Beating Diego isnt that great of a feat when both Casamayor, and Mayweather have wins against him, just look at the rankings, if James Toney beats John Ruiz he could take the #1-2 spot, while Trinidad take the #3rd spot, Mayweather/Morales/Barrera falls next to Tsyzu. Tsyzu beats Hatton he could get the 4-6 spot, meaning either way he wont be top 5 for awhile, which I dont even think hes gonna beat Corrales so that can only move Chico forward (complicated ), the list is moving, too many great fighters for Castillo to be mentioned, oh and something has to happen to Hopkins for him to leave 1-2.

I don't put heavyweights in my p4p list so James Toney wouldn't take any spot plus Toney hasn't done anything at heavyweight to be put on a p4p list. Tito wouldn't go up to #3 on my list either with a win over Winky. I have Winky at 6 so Tito would take the 6th spot. Mayweather is still holding on to #2 on my list but barely. Tszyu who is at 3 will take the second spot if he beats Hatton. With a win over Corrales I would put Castillo at 5 with Morales at 4.

Castillo has had a pretty good run taking over the lightweight division. I thought Casamayor beat Castillo in close fight but it was close enough where I wouldn't make alot of noise about it. Castillo would be 5th on my list if he beats Corrales which I think will happen.

So that means you never had Roy Jones Jr. on your list, Toneys not a natural heaveyweight, and if he beats Ruiz he would become champion to a divsion that has no weight maxium, and Mayweather wont suddenly become better than Hopkins, Morales was nowhere on the lists before beating Pacman, so two wins can put Trinidad at three where he was #2 before having his first loss.

I did have Jones on my list at #1 before he lossed. He only had one fight at heavyweight then went back down to light heavyweight. Toney has had two plus he is staying there and on top of that he hasn't done anything but beat an old Holyfield and some weak prospect. If I put Toney on the list if he beats Ruiz then I would have to put every other heavyweight champion on there because they have accomplished more than Toney at that weight. To me p4p really depends on what a fighter has accomplished lately and like I stated earlier Toney has accomplished nothing lately. There are exceptions like Mayweather, Morales and Tszyu. I had Morales in my top 10 before the Pacquiao fight.

I agree, Castillo is underrated, but top 5 if he beats Corrales??? Nah..

Hopkins, Mayweather, Winky, Morales, & Tszyu..

That right there is 5 who I he wouldn't and shouldn't be ranked higher than.

Hmmm, who else would he have to beat?lol.

Winky is not a top5 p4p fighter IMO,he's living off wins over faded Shane Mosley who was a much smaller fighter. He'l be erased from the list after Tito takes him out.

Are you sure you watch boxing? You seem to be heavily biased against Castillo or you just do not understand the state of the game. Corrales is highly ranked right now because of how he changed and adapted to Casamayor in order to beat him in a rematch. Casamayor is a very good fighter (one of my faves in fact).

Lazcano was simply a badass on a rampage when he met Castillo, and in fact many people felt Castillo would lose (including myself). Lazcano also had fierce sparring sessions with Casamayor in which he got the better of Casa on many occasions.

In conclusion, the Casa fight: I can only speak on the fact that many people feel that Casa was not robbed in that fight. From what I have seen, Casa started out well but got worn out and Castillo won. In any case, Castillo does deserve a top 10 ranking if he can beat Corrales.
