Lesser British fighters than Chris Eubank Junior, in my opinion have won World titles in this modern era of boxing 'Such as Darren Baker, and possibly even Liam Smith. I honestly believe that Eubank Junior is a more talented fighter than Liam Smith, even if? Eubank Junior had never have avenged his loss to Smith, I would still ultimately rate Chris Eubank Junior as a more talented fighter'.
If Chris Eubank Junior is going to fight for a World title 'That fight should most likely happen at 168 pounds. Because it has became very clear after Eubank Junior's last fight, that he is completely dead at the weight limit of 160 pounds. I was one of the very few people, who attributed Chris Eubank Junior's lost to Liam Smith I. Due to him suffering from the chronic affects of weight draining himself for the original Benn vs Eubank fight back in 2022. The catch weight of 157 pounds, and rehydration clause of 5 pounds I think over extended Eubank Junior's capacity in training, therefore he was still suffering from that accumulated damage while preparing for Liam Smith I'.
Therefore? I actually agree with the article, Chris Eubank Junior is legitimately very close to fighting Canelo Alvarez AT 168 pounds'.
Note: Canelo Alvarez has done everything in the sport 'He is a multiple World Champion, and he has beaten many elite level fighters. Pound for pound Alvarez has the best overall resume in all of boxing, win or lose. Oleksandr Uysk may be the most accomplished boxer in the entire sport, and pound for pound has achieved the four best wins vs both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua twice back to back over the past 15 years. But overall in a side by side comparison, man to man Uysk's resume is not better than Canelo Alvarez's boxing resume. Canelo Alvarez has fought all-time great, and multiple hall of fame fighters'.
To conclude: That is why a fight against Chris Eubank Junior is relevant for Canelo Alvarez 'It is a big business fight, and one that will create intrigue. Maybe Canelo Alvarez can fight on the road, and stage the fight in the United Kingdom. When a fighter is at the level of Canelo Alvarez, those are the type of goals I think they can personally set themselves because they have already many times over reached the summit of the sport' etc.
