Why is boxing culture attacking Keyshawn for losing his belt on the scale? David Benavidez was praised for coming in 3lbs over the scale and losing his belt, but nobody criticized his win nor was the fight cancelled. Scott Quigg came in 3lbs over the limit for Oscar Valdez.

Mind showing where people actually "praised" Benavidez for coming in overweight? You're definitely full of **** on that. Keyshawn was the champion too, Quigg wasn't. Keyshawn is getting flack for it and rightfully so.

So if a Champion or non Champion comes in 3lbs over (such as Benavidez vs Angulo) that's not ''cheating?'' Didn't Shakur or Tank do this too? lose belts coming in over the scale. It seems like boxing fans crying about catchweights don't mean fighers weighing more than their opponent on the scale. In theory a catchweight (and if made) is originally agreed upon. weighing more than your opponent isn't ideally agreed upon before hand. lol

There were already reports, articles of Canelo saying he wasn't going to fight another Mexican after Julio Cesar Chavez fallout. It was even rumoured in the dark streets by DLH that Canelo's family and acquaintances had death threats. Chavez Sr. knew cartels before hand, particular the Sinaloa cartel (which is where he is from) and it is said he knew El Chapo. In fact Mexican reporters were asking Chavez about Chapo when he got captured and he declined to comment. So as you know, eventually Canelo's brother was kidnapped for ransom during the Fielding week fight and Canelo had to do a settlement behind the scenes for his brother's release.
